## What is Huda?

Huda is a calm, complete companion for the Qur'an, prayer and remembrance - built to work offline, with nothing to sign up for and no ads.

THE QUR'AN
• Read verse by verse, or as the printed 15-line mushaf - page for page like the copy on your shelf. Choose the 1405H, 1421H or 1441H (colour-coded tajweed) print.

• Madani or IndoPak script, tajweed colours, adjustable Arabic, English and transliteration sizes, pinch to zoom.

• Three English translations - Saheeh International, Ruwwad and Wahiduddin Khan - plus transliteration.

• Tafsir on every verse: Al-Mukhtasar (short) or Ibn Kathir (in full), plus each passage's theme and the story of every surah.

• Qur'an by Topic: over 2,500 topics, from patience to the stories of the prophets. • Bookmarks in your own folders, continue reading where you left off, and search across the whole app - type 2:255 to open a verse.

RECITATION
• 8 reciters, including Mishary Alafasy, Mahmoud Al-Husary, Abdul Basit and Yasser Al-Dosari.

• Whole surahs gapless, or verse by verse with the verse on screen lighting up and the page turning as it is recited.

• Hear the English (Saheeh International) or Urdu translation after each verse. • Speed control, repeat a verse, continue into the next surah, and Lock Screen controls. • Download any surah or the whole Qur'an for offline listening; manage and delete downloads by type.

MEMORIZATION
• Build lessons and reviews by verse range or whole surahs, and repeat them as many times as you need.

• Guided tests hide the verses you are learning; reports are kept on your phone for each student.

PRAYER
• Accurate prayer times calculated on your phone, with 7 calculation methods and Hanafi or majority Asr.

• An adhan, a chime or silence - chosen for each of the five prayers.

• The Hijri date, what the month holds (from the Qur'an, Bukhari and Muslim), and how each time is calculated.

• Qibla compass, and a Mosque Finder with nearby mosques and, where published, their Jumu'ah times.

• Use your location, or type a latitude and longitude instead.

ADHKAR & DUAS
• Morning and evening adhkar with a tap counter, each with its source.

• Duas from the Qur'an and the Sunnah, every hadith cited.

• The 99 Names of Allah with their meanings.

• Gentle reminders for the adhkar and for time away from the Qur'an.

WIDGETS
• 20 widgets: 11 for the Lock Screen and 9 for the Home Screen.

• Lock Screen: next prayer with a countdown, all five prayers, the next two, a circular prayer ring, qibla, adhkar, Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays and continue reading.

• Home Screen: prayer times, next prayer with shortcuts, Ayah of the Day and quick links into the app.

• Hold the app icon for quick actions to Prayer Times, the Qur'an, Adhkar and more.

MADE TO BE COMFORTABLE
• Light and dark mode, day and night page colours, and a prayer card that follows the colours of the sky.
• Large text support throughout.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Prayer times and the qibla are calculated on your phone; your location never leaves it. Mosque Finder, only when you open it, sends a rounded location to find mosques nearby.
• No account, no ads, no tracking.

Every source - Qur'an text, translations, tafsir, recitations and hadith - is credited in the app under Sources. If you find a mistake, please tell us from there.
