After waiting and going inside, an employee looked at my phone and told me that my order had somehow been sent to the Hueytown, AL location instead which is about 1 hour and 45 minutes away. I tried to cancel the order through the app and get a refund, but I couldn’t. I had to call the Hueytown restaurant myself and explain the situation. My order was still marked as “Completed” even though I never received any food. I also contacted support, only to find out that I had reached the company that handles Huddle House’s rewards program. They forwarded my issue to Huddle House, but I’m still trying to get my $33.91 refunded. An ordering app should not send a customer’s order to a completely different restaurant nearly two hours away after they selected their intended location. There should also be a clear way to cancel an incorrectly placed order and request a refund directly through the app. Very frustrating experience. I follow all of the steps they provide and I always get “Uh oh! Error validating basket” when I go to finalize the order. Wrote to support more than once and never get a response. I have missed out on redeeming so many promotions & rewards due to this. I used to love the app & rewards program but now it just seems like a scam. You fill out order, apply the reward & everything looks great until you try to submit. You take off the reward and BOOM, the order submits this time but now you paid full price.
