However, the Spotify integration doesn’t work correctly! It lets me log in but won’t play any music. Just gets stuck on loading forever! Would be nice if this was fixed as having everything all in one place is great, as at the moment, I have to quit the app and go into Spotify if I want music to be played. Als Verbesserungsvorschlag würde ich mir noch eine Anzeige der gefahrenen Kilometer und gefahrene Zeit wünschen. Ebenfalls schade ist, dass der Querneigungssensor nur mit der externen Anzeige funktioniert. In der HUD Widgets App des gleichen Entwicklers geht es ja auch. Verbesserungsvorschläge: Akkuverbrauch senken Hochformat Die Spotify Funktion synchronisiert sich nicht mit der Wiedergabe aus der Spotify App, das ist sehr schade. The HUDWAY cast loses connection within 5 minutes with the phone. Always require t stop vehicle to reset manually. Totally waste of time. I love it because my vehicle does not have Car Play... but do not forget to close the app when you are done. Thank you so much! ### 1/5 — Useless app *2021-05-29* I bought the device years ago just after they released it. Connected the device by OBD, cannot “cast to HUD” the navigation. I thought a firmware update might solve the problem but never had any notification for updates from this app. got no reply to my email sent about one and half years ago. I thought they gave up the business as I gave up the device. Surprisingly found they are still selling! Just sent another email asking for support, hopefully they have someone doing the job ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2020-09-16* Contacted support but took ages to reply (4months). I chucked the device as it’s unusable anymore. Had only been using Hudway Cast for 7 months then it stopped performing as advertised. What a waste of money. I plug it in and get it setup and lone behold the app can’t pick it up. So I hardwired it in then it said a firmware update was available. I thought “oh sweet yeah this will update it and get it right” but all it did was display what I think they thought was cute as a “something went wrong” I backed out and tried again and it didn’t work. I tried using it as is and sure enough when I pressed “cast to hub” it casted the screen previous. Then I tried apple maps but that didn’t work because of the rotation of the phone. Thanks! ### 1/5 — Garbage *2019-05-28* I have struggled with this gadget and hudway ld tech support for 6 months. Support has been less than helpful or really has offered any help other than YouTube videos and a 50 dollar credit. I was given this credit to essentially go away. But I was told even though I couldn’t return the device that I could have a credit and give it away as a gift or sell it. Well I’ve tried it on 5 iPhones and 2 androids and not once could I get it to work reliably. Fidgeting with this device while driving is an absolute hazard as it constantly goes out. It is not a reliable hud. And I’m super angry that how this company has treated me and stalled me out past return. I was told by a second person that I could return it and then kasy quickly jumped in to tell me I couldn’t. We’ve read all your emails in the thread and believe that you’ve failed to follow all steps from our instructions. If you use an incorrect mode or protocol, the connection will not work. Please be sure to follow the instruction carefully. All info you can find in our HUDWAY Help Center https://hudway.zendesk.com/hc/en-us If you want to connect HUDWAY Cast to iPhone here is what you have to do: 1) Set iOS mode on HUDWAY Cast (press the mode button until you see the apple logo) 2) Access your phone Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to HUDWAY-XXXXX network. 3) Pull up the Control Center panel from the bottom of your screen and long tap the Screen recording 4) You'll see the apps you can broadcast through. Select HUDWAY Cast and tap Start Broadcast. Hope this helps.
