Light effects are exactly timed to the delay of the connected device. Also Please make sure you allow LAN access when on iOS14. You can check this in Settings | Privacy | Local Network. Make sure the app is allowed in there. This make greats great light daily dynamic lighting. Bonus: you can use the more golden/red/amber scenes to cut the blue light in your house a few hours before bed.
