This is a major dud. ## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated) ### 4/5 — Much better than before! *2017-05-22, version 8.0* You would think that an app that you paid $1.99 would run in the background and continue the effect of your lights when your iPhone screen went dark. Very disappointing. UPDATE! I have an iPhone 6 Plus and the screen now stays lit up to keep the App active as long as you keep the app in the main window. Screen will not go to sleep until you turn the app off and I've noticed that my iPhone heats up a little bit, but not to any extreme to worry about it. Suggestion: keep your iPhone plugged in and well ventilated and everything should be fine. I'm happy that I can run the app for more than just a few minutes now. The app does a fine job with the candle effect! 👍 ### 3/5 — Brightness *2017-04-15, version 8.0* I couldn't find a way to adjust the brightness. ### 3/5 — Does what it says but… *2015-09-12, version 3.0* …needs a brightness control. For some reason it looks like I want it to only for a few seconds after I flip the switch to turn it off. ### 2/5 — Could be better *2017-01-08, version 4.0* Not complaining about the speed or variation of the light flicker, but it's rather pointless if you have to keep the app open and the phone unlocked while wishing to have the effect continue. The actually flicker effect is nice, and you have some control over that, which is nice.
