Memorial Day, Labor Day, and 4th of July I believe come in as a close second to Halloween if you are looking to bathe your home in Red, White, and Blue. But you can’t blame ghosts for your choice of Reds, Whites, and Blues everywhere in your home, your tailer, or your in-laws trailer. - Halloween and the ghosts changing the lights. - Halloween and the guy in the secret room below the basement who’s drawing power from the lights. - Halloween and the witches, who’s mobile phones changed the lighting, they are on their way to the house so hide. This app is dead💀on perfect. It does exactly what the zombies 🧟‍♀️🧟🧟‍♂️, witches 🧙🏻‍♀️🧙🏻, ghosts 👻,and goblins👺👹need to make the place welcoming to them. ### 3/5 — Not bad *2022-10-29* If you could have lights turned off between sounds would be way better. The lights do almost nothing, the sounds are generic, and well... everything about it is bad. A couple of suggestions for updates that I think would be great additions: - Allow a specified Effect to loop indefinitely or a customisable duration. - Allow a specific Effect or Mood to be triggered by the Motion Detector (not just a random one) Great work! **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. You can specify one sound to trigger with favorites. See the manual for details. Next season more options will be available. ### 4/5 — Love the app but please add switch support *2019-10-22* Would get 5 stars if the devs added the Philips hue switch to the app so that it could be placed outside your home and when visitors press a button (you could only configure one button in the home app or Phillips hue app etc) it would activate an effect and sounds through outdoor speakers! Would be awesome!!! I know the motion sensor can do this but if you already have a switch it would be quick to set up. Please can we have this? But when I selected all of my lights which is mainly 3x up/down sconces, it was horrible! Initially just wanted a light to mimic a fallen lamp that was flickering but oh boy, bought this app and immediately went to buy more hue bulbs with colour, it’s fantastic! This app is the best in terms of accuracy of lights, sound affects, and background noise. I know this app is a once a year kinda thing but please keep updating! I had it up and running in seconds and the different colours, flickering and sound effects are every bit as good as any haunted house… ### 5/5 — Spooky FUN! *2019-06-23* I never used to be into Halloween. Then I got this App to utilize my Hue lights and now I can't resist expanding my decorating every year. I've been using this app to great effect for the past 3 Halloweens. We always get lots of compliments from trick-or-treaters and friends and my two toddlers LOVE playing with the spooky sounds/controlling the lights on the iPad app! It's a fun party trick for friends as well. Hooking it up to a Hue motion sensor works perfectly to trigger spooky sounds right as people approach the house. One warning: start with a fully charged phone and keep it plugged in, since it will drain the battery like crazy. I recommend using the headphone audio jack to sync audio to the lights perfectly, if possible. One of Hue's updates for the bridge nearly broke the app for Halloween 2018. I was SO happy when the developer fixed the compatibility update in a June 2019! I'm really looking forward to using this again next year. I've bought other apps/add-ons for this App from the developer and would have happily paid much more for this App because of how FUN it is. ### 5/5 — Awesome! *2018-11-03* Best. App. Ever. Developer responded promptly when we had a few initial set up questions. We set it up effortlessly with both interior and exterior lights and two light strips. Connected a stereo outside on Halloween night. Our house was the scariest in the neighborhood by far! Loved the extra package with additional noises, it was worth the extra $.
