Had to waste $6 on the subscription to even attempt, I would steer clear of this app! ### 1/5 — Can’t even figure how to quit *2023-10-02* I downloaded this because I thought it was supposed to be the controller for some outdoor lights I purchased. I wanted to decorate for halloween. Turns out it is not the correct app but I had to subscribe for a month in order to even try to set up the app. It didn’t work. I figured out the app was wrong (scan the qr code from the lights, it’s easier) and downloaded the right one but meanwhile I cannot even figure out how to prevent being automatically renewed for eternity. The app does nothing when I try to open. I sent a complaint through apple pay. Additionally, nothing appears to work after the purchase. **Developer response:** Dear, smart light bulbs is new and if you fail for the first time, it is a common issue due to the fact that our app need to remove the bulb from previous binding. This process might take a few times to get the bulb to work correctly. If you fail for the first time, please try again at least 3, 4 times then the issue will be resolved. ### 1/5 — Total Scam *2022-10-19* I realized I downloaded the wrong app and went to get a refund but the site did not exists. Kurz: Die App fordert einen direkt auf der Einleitung, ohne Einrichtung, zu einet Rezension auf - was ich fragwürdig finde, und was vermutlich die aktuell gute Bewertung erklärt. Im letzten Schritt soll man direkt einen Kauf machen - OHNE dass ich IRGENDWAS bisher hätte sehen oder ausprobieren können! Erst nach ein paar Sekunden erscheint ein Schließen-Button. Dark Patterns lassen grüßen. Jetzt erscheint eine Oberfläche. Will ich mich mit Hue verbinden, kommt ein damit gar nicht zusammenhängender Screen (verweist auf Feit-Leuchten), und erneut werde ich zum Kauf aufgefordert! Fazit: Nichts geht, nichts kann getestet werden. Aber kaufen soll ich - und ich befürchte das ist auch nur der Zweck der App. ### 1/5 — Please remove from App Store *2025-03-07* This is completely fraudulent spyware and I can’t believe Apple approved it ! It’s titled “Hue Sync” but completely refuses to connect with ANY bridge or device. It even states in your app that Hue integration requires ADVANCED configuration.
