The slightest missed tap on any given lighting group activates the slider that takes you to the detail screen for the light group. This makes simple taps on any given icon very frustrating. The correct implementation would be for only a tap on the > icon to activate the slider. Please fix. **Developer response:** Have you tried V2? You have no motion sensors connected to your bridge is the error message. Hue has no problem connecting. ### 3/5 — Family Sharing Problem *2024-04-28, version 1.7.31* I purchased the app and upgraded to the Pro version great app and I’m enjoying all the different lighting options . Problem came when my wife downloaded the app we are on Family Sharing but she is expected to pay another £4.99 for the pro version . Money not the issue just expected it to be shareable with family members on the same account . ### 2/5 — Stop working *2024-01-28, version 1.7.31* Can not find hue bridge I gave up ### 2/5 — Just Ok *2023-01-13* Tried it out. One big problem for an app that claims to do everything for hue. It has no way to find your previously created scenes. Ok no problem I’ll just recreate them in this app. Oh wait where is it, can’t find it, it seems this app cannot create scenes. My whole reason for trying this app was so my daughter could use her smart button button to set a specific scene either during the day or during bedtime (for her night light). You see we built her a loft bed and she need to be able to toggle on a non-blinding light from two very specific lights in her room but only during specific times (during bedtime). I can do this in the normal hue app except I have to set the same scene for 5 presses, but guess what happens on the sixth press (even if it hasn’t been pressed for hours), everything shuts off even her tv that we have programmed to a smart switch. I don’t need the tv turning off during the day, only during the night. This is not achievable with the hue app and is apparently not with this one either. My suggestion is keep looking if you want actual usability instead of just pretty pre configured light shows. **Developer response:** You can create scenes and they can also be applied to any room with our OmniScene technology. Scenes are no longer tied to just the room in which you created them. ### 2/5 — Unintuitive *2022-01-07, version 1.7.22* All the functionality is there and works well. It’s just so confusing to use. The interface needs some work. ### 4/5 — Awesome app for Philips Hue *2021-03-10, version 1.7.22* Really cool app covering a wide range of possibilities all in one. Camera feature is especially good as it lets you have something similar to the Hue Sync Box for a fiver. Stick a couple (or more) colour hue bulbs behind your tv and you can even have a slightly lesser version of Hue Gradient Lightstrip for a fraction of the cost! Luckily a buddy told me about HueDynamic, and I installed and setup everything like I would. I love the interface more on this app, and the added effects built in really made this worth the purchase of getting pro as well. Thanks! ### 5/5 — Wonderful app, just needs one small feature added *2023-10-29* We’ve had lots of fun with it this Halloween by using a motion sensor, my existing hue landscape lights, and a Bluetooth speaker to scare unsuspecting people approaching the front door. It would be even better if I could choose multiple experiences to trigger from the one motion sensor, so it would either play an experience at random (from the ones i selected), or make a “playlist” of sorts that it would go through if it continued to be triggered over a short period of time. Also, the ability to schedule the trigger on and off times would be awesome, as I like to leave it running, but hearing the creepy heart beat and “Paaaaaaybaaaaack!” Voice when I go out to check the mail in the morning doesn’t really work. Put the Christmas lights up with just a push of a button. Halloween, no problem, there’s a button for that too. Developer was great and helped with an issue I had within hours. If you're upgrading I recommend, don't upgrade within the app but purchase the Pro version separately. Feedback to developer, when upgraded within the free version, it still shows time limits for experiences and also the lights don't go back to previous state after the experience such as Disco. However the Pro version works flawlessly and returns lights to previous state after you stop the experience.
