### 1/5 — Just paid 4 bucks to be a beta tester

*2018-06-04, version 1.6*

I can see what the developer is trying to accomplish (and is what I came to this app looking for which I why I was so excited to shell out money) but it’s just not there yet

I can’t set up a zone with more than 5 lights? Ridiculous!

I actually need to set up 2 separate scenes to turn all lights in a zone on and off? (Otherwise I would have to select each individual light each and every time) It’s not really that hard to set up but shouldn’t an all on/off switch be standard?

I can’t dim my normal (non color) bulbs? I can certainly do it with the physical switches you based your design on!

I loved the idea and thinking it was exactly what I needed I gladly paid for the full version but I didn’t get what I was expecting.

My advice, wait for the developer to offer a full, time based, demo and then see if it’s what you’re looking for

### 1/5 — can't pair with the bridge

*2018-04-21*

hj

**Developer response:** Pairing should definitely work. Can you pair with the official Philips Hue app in the same conditions (device + network)?

### 1/5 — Doesn’t do anything

*2018-02-21, version 1.3*

Application doesn’t do anything I can’t even turn on one light

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2026-01-31, version 3.5.2*

Don’t bother with this app, looked promising until I tried to connect and it doesn’t like the Hue Bridge Pro. Looked good but……… not fit for purpose

### 1/5 — HueZapper

*2024-08-31, version 3.5.2*

Complete rubish will not connect

### 1/5 — Didn’t work for me back to the official app

*2020-01-06, version 2.1.3*

Not working properly here on my iPhone Xs

### 1/5 — Payment errors

*2019-03-03, version 2.1.3*

I pay for my apps with Face ID.

Ironically, I cannot purchase the full program because it keeps recycling errors to verify card and password, even though the Face ID shows it as being paid.

### 1/5 — Can only have 10 lights in zone...

*2019-02-03, version 2.1.3*

Waste of money for me and many people because of this limitation. Deleting.

### 1/5 — Wow free version is useless!

*2018-12-13, version 2.1.3*

How are customers suppose to try the app if EVERYTHING is behind a pay wall ? Can’t even control 1 light ! Why even have a free version ?

Bad business model. Don’t waste your time !

### 1/5 — Free version

*2018-11-23, version 2.1.1*

Does nothing!

No lights at all are able to be connected in the free version. I would buy it but would need to try even a light bulb.

I won’t pay the 9$ to find out if it does or doesn’t work... shame on you guys

### 1/5 — This is not a free app

*2018-11-03, version 2.1.1*

Waste of time. Requires purchase of add on and is there fore not free. Please describe the severe limitations in the app description to save people wasting their time downloading.

### 1/5 — Can not “really” group rooms into a”zone”

*2018-09-18, version 2.0.1*

I paid for the full download.
I wanted to create one “zone” for three separate rooms. It only allows 12-or-so total lights to be put into one zone — therefore I could not create one “zone” for three rooms (I have 14 lights total in the three rooms). Nowhere in the description does it state this limitation. I emailed support and asked for help or a refund. I received no response.

### 1/5 — Too expensive.

*2018-07-22, version 2.0*

Too expensive.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Hue

*2023-01-30, version 3.5.1*

It works. Had to pay for it but anyway

### 5/5 — Great app

*2019-01-13, version 2.1.3*

This app does just what I need. Also, very good support: At first I could not figure out how to make a scene work. I contacted the developer and he helped me figure it out. Thanks!

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2018-09-16, version 2.0.1*

Amazing remote the best app ever bought for the hue lights. The color you can pull out from this app is just amazing.

Wow I’m super impressed.

It’s a must buy for everyone who’s having hue lights.

Thank you!

### 5/5 — Excellent control

*2018-06-09, version 1.7*

This is my favourite control for our Hue lights because it is so efficient. Highly recommended. It takes a little work to set up ... but once set up its functionality is elegant.

### 5/5 — Good

*2018-05-10, version 1.6*

Tkif app is ok kibd og confusi

### 4/5 — Good app. Easy to group lights. Developer responsive

*2018-12-31, version 2.1.3*

App is good. Hoping for some new features like multi bridge support and device configuration built into settings page

Thanks

### 4/5 — Great but missing one thing

*2018-02-16, version 1.2*

I am likely not the normal user of this application however I have a used case that is not being captured with this decent application. I have nearly 100 hue devices and that means I have two bridges which span different levels on my home. It would be nice to have a quick process to switch bridges seeing as they are IP range assigned. Or in a perfect world bring it all together in one control. Thanks for doing abs like this. It’s nice to see developers creating something valuable for the hue system.

### 3/5 — Not enough on free version

*2018-05-06, version 1.6*

Just a demo to show what the paid version will do. Download it if you’re evaluating apps to BUY but not if you want a functional app. 3 stars for good possibilities.

### 3/5 — Good App

*2018-03-17, version 1.5*

Great app, started to set it up but got stuck on the light number limit straight away. 5 lights per group places a limit on the functionality. I have 6 lamps to group together.

### 2/5 — I can’t find you says the app to the bridge

*2018-07-06, version 1.7*

I love the idea of this app. However I could not get it to connect to my hue bridge. Three other App Store hue apps had no problems connecting to my bridge. In fact I could still control my lights with the Phillips Hue app but this app just refuses to find the bridge. Obviously some very finicky connection issues still need to be worked out for this app as I see they have previously put out an update for connection issues.
