## What is Human Hub?

Human Hub is a small tool for staying close to the people who matter.

Keep your friends, family, and close circle from going quiet. Log check-ins, set follow-ups, remember birthdays, and capture the small details (her dog's name, what he's stressed about at work, the trip you keep promising to take).

Built for real life, not sales pipelines.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Check-ins. Log when you talk to someone, how it went, and what was on their mind. See patterns across weeks and months.

Follow-ups. Capture the "I should send her that book" thoughts before they evaporate. Get reminded at the right time, on the right day.

Birthdays and events. Never miss one. Get reminded a week ahead, the day before, or the morning of.

Voice commands. Hold the + button and speak. "Had brunch with Adrian. He's worried about his mom." Human Hub parses it into a check-in, pre-filled and ready to save.

Streaks. See who you're consistent with and who's been quiet. A streak indicator on their profile tells you in a glance.

Memories and gratitude. Save the moments worth keeping. Look back on what you appreciated and why.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your data lives in your own private row in our database, gated by row-level security. We don't run ads. We don't sell your data. Sign in with Apple or Google. We never see your password.

Voice transcripts are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to extract names and dates. Audio is captured by Apple's Speech Recognition framework on your device.

PRO

Human Hub is free to use. Pro unlocks unlimited people, voice commands, and calendar sync. Available as a monthly subscription, annual subscription, or Lifetime purchase.

Restore prior purchases any time by tapping Restore on the upgrade screen.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-08-13*

This is what I’ve been missing in my life to feel like I’m a “good” friend who remembers to check in and remember what the heck we talked about during our last conversation!

**Developer response:** This is such a sweet review - thank you! It sounds like you're using it for exactly the same reasons I made it. I'm constantly improving it so I hope that it continues to work for you! Happy connecting! (:

### 5/5 — Has been a god-send so far

*2026-08-09*

This app is so easy to use and I especially love the dictation feature because I can just talk about a check-in that I had with a friend while I’m walking away and I can remember all the details and it makes it so easy to schedule a follow ups and remember what’s going on with my friends! ADHD brain made it so hard at first but now i love this

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for this review, it means so much to me! The dictation feature was something I really wanted to get right for exactly this reason, being able to just talk while you walk away and have it all captured removes SO much of the friction of remembering check-ins. Happy connecting (:

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.11 — 2026-08-21

Voice check-ins are free to try now!

You get three, no subscription, so you can actually feel what it's like to say "log a call with Mom" and watch Hub fill the whole thing in for you.

Opening Hub also used to stop your music, which is SO annoying and was a real bug on my end.

Someone wrote in about it and it's fixed now, thank you (:

Your first day has something in it now.

When you add someone, Hub asks roughly when you last talked, so people start showing up in your Daily Ritual over the next few days instead of a month from now.

"Never" is now called "No reminders," and anyone set that way gets a little tag in your People list.

They used to just disappear on you, and that's not helpful at all.

Voice is better at hearing names too, so if you say "Anna" and you saved her as "Ana," it works that out instead of making you pick.

One honest thing: clearing your Daily Ritual only counts when there was actually something in it.

So if your streak looks a bit different, that's me fixing it rather than you doing anything wrong haha.

Plus smaller stuff, like a warmer first screen when your Hub is new, and your settings following your account instead of just the one phone.

Feedback goes to hey@hellomelmo.com. I read every single one.

### 1.0.10 — 2026-08-07

Talk About is new. Keep a running list of things you want to bring up with someone, add to it whenever it pops into your head, and tick them off once you've caught up.

Missed catch-ups used to disappear on you. Now they stay put and read as overdue, the same way an overdue check-in does, and they show up in your morning notification too.

If you log a check-in with someone you're behind on, it clears the ones you missed with them in one go. There's an undo on it in case you tapped it by accident.

Moving a repeating catch-up now lands on the day you actually picked, and moving all the future ones restarts the schedule from there.

Calendar sync got a real cleanup. Reset and resync doesn't leave duplicates behind anymore, and your repeating catch-ups come back where they belong.

Your People list has more bulk actions now, like changing priority or unarchiving a batch at once.

Your settings follow your account instead of living on the one phone you set them on.

And the first setup is gentler. You start with one person, and typing a name works fine if you'd rather not give contacts access (:

Feedback goes to hey@hellomelmo.com. I read every email.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-07-13

A few things that make Human Hub feel more like how you actually keep in touch:

• Mark a follow-up, event, or birthday complete and we'll ask if you want to log it as a real check-in. No more re-typing what you just did.
• Complete something because you called, texted, saw them in person, or WhatsApp'd them. However it happened, however you want to keep track.
• New people you add now default to a check-in every 2 months instead of never. You can change this anytime in Settings.
• Events can now have a start and end time (so "dinner from 7 to 10" actually shows up right on your calendar).
• Smoother scrolling, sharper accessibility support, and a bunch of little consistency fixes across the app.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-07-10

Recurring check-ins are here!

Some friendships run on a rhythm. Now you can set a standing catch-up (every 2 weeks, every 2 months, whatever fits) and Human Hub takes it from there.

• Pick a person, a rhythm, and a time. Your catch-ups show up on your homepage, in Upcoming, and on your calendar
• Invite them by email. They get a real calendar invite with a personal note from you
• Logged a call around catch-up time? It counts automatically, no extra taps
• Streaks now work for recurring friends too
• The app opens instantly, even on bad signal or no signal at all
• Location search now takes countries, for the friends you only half know where they live
• Plus cleaner pills, consistent long-press menus, and a fix for friends showing "Due" right after you'd texted them

### 1.0.7 — 2026-07-03

Better offline support. Your people, check-ins, and Pro status are all still there even without a connection, no more waiting on a signal to see who you should reach out to.

Voice commands are more reliable. Simple follow-ups now work fully offline, transcripts stick around if something goes wrong so you can retry instead of starting over, and recordings no longer cut off mid-sentence.

Fixed a bug where check-in reminders could go stale on your calendar after logging or deleting one.

Thanks for sticking with Human Hub. Keep the feedback coming at hey@hellomelmo.com.
