I don’t know who else has the same problem but please fix this issue thank you! ### 1/5 — FREE *2026-05-12, version 1.4.12* This app used to be free. It helped a great deal to talk out ideas and concerns with adults (and young adults) anonymously and for FREE. I appreciated that children were not allowed. Not sure what happened but $30 a year for a microphone? Nah. I’ll wait for another app like it one to pop up. Back to my FREE spam youtube, reddit, and twitter accounts. *cracks knuckles, types away* ### 3/5 — It was good until it became about cash. *2026-05-09, version 1.4.12* I got through many tough moments in my life using this app, especially when I was too afraid to talk to the person I thought I could trust and needed to be heard. Now as I am coming back to it for the third time, I see now we can’t even get into the meetings without having a plus subscription. I miss it because I loved talking and hearing others talked. I felt good being there for someone without needing to know them personally. I helped myself by helping others and now without a plus subscription I am back to being miserable and feeling stuck with no where to go. If this app was truly to help anyone, it would have never been behind a paywall but people have to make their money somehow. ### 1/5 — I just wanted help *2026-04-30, version 1.4.12* I originally got the app a few years back and deleted it when I started going to real therapy. I just joined back and found out you have to pay for everything. I was sitting in my room, overwhelmed with emotions and just needed an outlet and people to listen. When I went to post, I couldn’t. The original purpose of the app was taken away and it is now greedy. Amazing people, amazing advice, people listened and shared. It was a great community. Now you have to pay just to be able to talk, listen, or get messages from other people. I met my old best friend here, and the community was active and kind. Now you can’t even join chat rooms without paying, barely anyone is online, and the app is glitchy. It feels like the developer abandoned it. There’s no real reason to download it anymore, which is really disappointing considering how great it used to be. It’s now become one of 99% of the therapy apps on the Apple app store that extort your mental health for money. You just take their info, exploit their needs, and charge them for asking for a reason to live. You and everyone else who runs this app are monsters and I hope the worst for you as this you care about. The interface is user friendly/efficacious. Anyone who is remotely technologically literate can use it, but the majority of the users are not particularly tactful in social etiquette and this is largely problematic. A great deal of bullying and/or harassment occurs on what seems to be a daily basis. I have been witness to many occurrences of smear campaigning and defamation of character without also being witness to any real evidence backed claims made against the accused users. It’s really unfortunate as this platform could be a safe space for people to share personal experiences with one another in a uniform fashion wherein individuals of various backgrounds, race, culture, religion, sexual preference, gender identity, and otherwise could band together in devising solutions to their common challenges. There’s nothing inherently wrong with the platform- the issues have to do simply with the nature of its users. I really love this app in concept and theory. I’ve always thought it’s impressive in design. Unfortunately, without any real boundaries or guidelines for sharing, users tend to assume free-range in their conduct which is not always conducive to the well being of other users. I’ve heard that in previous versions, the developer of this application had employed moderators for the chats. This regulation would be beneficial to be in place again. People should be allowed the autonomy to share as they please but they should also be held accountable when directly inciting chaos and confusion or sewing discord among those who are peaceably seeking camaraderie. I have taken it upon myself to send reports to the developer which have been of no avail, so I don’t look for any major changes in the near future, but it would be nice to see some of the less desirable members permanently banned from accessing the platform. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Payment ? *2026-08-17, version 1.4.12* If you want to make a impact and help people who are struggling why would you make them pay just to talk to people ? Horrible app. The owner Nate changed the monthly fee (to use the main feature) from $2 a year to THIRTY DOLLARS A YEAR then completely abandoned the app Not to mention it’s a mini insane asylum meets highschool. Full of a bunch of 25-30 year old losers who make it their mission to form clickes and mass harassment and bully individuals they don’t want on the app. Nate is greedy and the app is messed up from a glitch for several months at a time. I suggest swiping to the left to get faster to chat area instead of button to get to chat maybe have the ability to be in line and be able to have a button continue to move back 1 spot to let the person behind you go first and you just move behind them and don’t have to go all the way back to the end of the line. Also possibility ability to have a noise notification when your up talking in case you were listening with your phone locked and screen notification pop up and a visual chat room notification maybe also to see the chat line profile pics in text chat room in small bubbles somewhere and Im new to app 2nd day I don’t know much about the chat rooms and why they are open at certain times but as from hearing from people in the app they suggest having more chat rooms open more times. And the personal messages button at bottom and maybe swipe left to get to that also with sound notification to know you got a message from person.
