Set up an account but can’t see it my network and there several hubs with the same name. Just needs to be ironed out. Being able to watch live tv is hit and miss (mostly miss) but trying to get the TV guide is 100% miss. But since they brought out their latest players fvp4000, and that’s when humax died. It’s 2021 and this is one of the worst apps ever made. Remote recordings doesn’t always works. You can’t search for anything. Browsing the guide is a Frickin nightmare. The calendar is a nightmare to figure out-the day starts on current time???? Oh and it’s buggy as hell. Humax used to have a dedicated hardcore fanbase. Even those have abandon them now. Seriously Humax is DEAD. ### 1/5 — Was Good! *2021-10-26, version 1.3.2* This app did work in the house. Haven’t used it from another location like the BT App which is brilliant. Now I’m getting an error msg all the time. “Turn on wi-fi on your mobile. Make sure your mobile and HUMAX device are connected to the same network”. I only have ONE network. Usually when apple do their big yearly update lots of apps have to be updated, none from HUMAX. Why no reply’s from humax. Don’t they even look at reviews. ### 1/5 — Broken *2021-10-14, version 1.3.2* This app has been broken by iPadOS 15. It doesn’t recognise the network to which it is attached so cannot operate at all ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on ios15 *2021-10-11, version 1.3.2* Can’t connect to box after upgrade to ios15 ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with iPhone ios15 *2021-10-04, version 1.3.2* Had been using the Humax Tv remote app for a couple of years as the remote supplied with the box is hopeless, the app stopped working a couple of weeks ago, tried humax help several times and got lots of different remedies which didn’t work, this app was suggested which also didn’t work, more contact with humax only to be told the old app isn’t supported anymore! And the new isn’t compatible with ios15 and no date could be given for upgrade. The whole purpose of such an app is to be able to record remotely. But this is not possibly as the app and the box have to be connected to the same network. I have deleted it! ### 1/5 — Possibly the worst app I’ve ever used *2021-08-22, version 1.3.2* I bought the Humax to replace my old YouView box that I got from BT - years ago!. My old YouView box allowed recordings on the go and worked really well including program search and easy scroll, day by day and cancel recordings, you name it, it worked. The Humax app is total rubbish, the worst layout of the programs and no ability to search or move from day to day without having to page back every time. Someone developed the app one afternoon and never finished it, and that was over 10 years ago. Come on Humax, you charge the highest price, about time you delivered what you promise, until you get your act together I will never by Humax again and certainly with never recommend to anyone thinking of buying one. Absolutely nothing works properly. Trying to use it to set a recording for today, all you see is No Program Information, even after waiting several minutes for it to refresh so don’t even bother trying to set anything for days to come. In Verbindung mit dem Humax HD Fox kann ich unabhängig vom laufenden Programm einen anderen Sender streamen. Bei HD+ Sender geht das allerdings nicht, was aber nicht am Gerät oder an der App liegt, sondern an den Beschränkungen durch HD+. Nach den vielen negativen Bewertungen bin ich positiv überrascht. ### 5/5 — Läuft ganz stabil *2015-02-04, version 1.1.23* Schade nur das Humax wie bei allen Geräten keine Updates mehr heraus bringt. Can watch tv or non-hd recordings on iPhone or iPad. I don’t understand the moans in other reviews about setting schedule outside the home. The app is not designed for that. I created an account on myHumax and registered my device. I can set a schedule using that from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. ### 4/5 — Works Quite Well !!! *2020-04-09* Works well with my FVP-500T, can watch live tv and set recordings without interfering with our viewing, only down side is not all recordings will play on my iPad due to format issues with iPad, this is fixed by using Humax Media Player app which plays all recordings. I visited myHUMAX website and registered and save website to home screen on my iPhone, this connects to my box so I can set up recordings anywhere in the world, all is needed is an internet connection. ### 4/5 — Handy app *2017-07-01, version 1.2.16* Able to watch tv on my iPad while my family watches something else. Happy days! ### 3/5 — Update to IOS 15.1 has fixed issue! *2021-10-26, version 1.3.2* If you’ve been getting the ‘WiFi’ issue since installing IOS 15, update to 15.1 as this has fixed it for me. It seems it was an Apple issue with not detecting wifi, not Humax’s! ### 3/5 — Just needs a little work on remote operations *2019-12-16* I am sure the developers are very proud of the ‘live tv’ part of this app but that is not why I downloaded the app. I wanted the remote recording facility. Clearly that is meant to work (the live tv options tell you that you need to be connected locally and the two remote ones don’t) but the remote options only work when WiFi is linked to a router, not on the phones data usage, even when the flags are set to allow this. ### 3/5 — A Humax app that works *2018-03-19* It does the basic job but is rather crude. Only one box can be registered rather than being able to choose which to use. But it does stream as it should. But why does it not detect an HDR 2000 which also has a DNLA media player and can be detected and played by other Humax boxes? The help information is poor and misleading as is unfortunately the case with all Humax stuff.
