### 3/5 — Devices vs customer service

*2026-08-29, version 9.25.0*

The Hume pod 10/10, The Hume Band 10/10, The Hume App 7/10, customer service 0/10.

The Hume Pod, Band and app all work hand in hand. But if I’m honest there is consistency problems and glitches all the time that throw out your metrics.

You have weekly reports if you’re a Hume plus member and it’s like $150 AUD for the year it’s worth it but the reports are very interesting and very helpful.

The biggest downside is customer service is ABYSMAL!! NONEXISTENT!! ATROCIOUS!! No one answers emails in regards to fixing these problems they just take your money and leave you to the wolves. You could get a refund but before you realise any of this it goes outside the refund policy period.

You could try the live chat.. oh wait it’s a bot!!

### 4/5 — 45 days-in with Pod and Band 2.0

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

Data is great but multi-diagrams and base lines are great for medical professionals. State actions to be taken and their effects on those charts.

### 4/5 — RECENT UPDATE

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

So far, the tracking systems created, works well. Recent update, however, needs to be updated to toggle on and off “detail mode” for blood pressure reading on the HB2. Please advise.

### 3/5 — It’s a scale

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

The Hume Health scale is a good body-composition scale and provides useful data beyond just weight. But at the end of the day, it’s still a scale—you step on it, get your measurements, and that’s about it.

To get the full Hume experience with continuous health, activity, sleep and recovery data, you really need the Hume Band. Personally, I already wear an Oura Ring, so I don’t see the need to wear another device.

Good scale, but Hume could be clearer about what the scale actually does without the Band.

### 5/5 — Best health tracker so far

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

I got the Hume as gift for me and my wife. After trying all the brands on the market for years. My spectations were really low but after couple weeks I glad I make the purchase. Also the Hume scale came defective and they send a brand new and we don’t have to send back the other one. A company that delivered what they promised which is really unique in the world that we leave in now. Thanks Hume.

### 5/5 — Great

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

So much information in this device—excellent product.

### 5/5 — Accurate Progress Record

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

The Body Pod is helping to see what is actually happening as I continue on a whole food, plant based lifestyle.
Small fluctuations upward of body weight are most often actually changes in body composition. Visceral and subcutaneous fat is decreasing while muscle, bone and water are increasing.
That reduces anxiety over scale fluctuations because I see that the gain is actually an improvement, not simply heavier.

### 5/5 — My Favorite Scale Ever

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

I used to have the older Hume scale model but after switching to the newer one the app has been so awesome. It’s kinda like a game to me where it’s always a competition to see if I can loose weight, body fat, and gain muscle.

### 5/5 — Love Hume

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

The battery on the new 2.0 is amazing!!

### 3/5 — Doesn’t work well

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

I got the new 2.0 band, it doesn’t track my sleep accurately. It doesn’t pickup on my strain very well either. The whoop did a much better job.

### 4/5 — Great!

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

Very easy to use and insightful

### 5/5 — Working behind the scenes

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

Although my weight has stayed fairly consistent for the last 7 months, my fat % has lowered and my muscle mass % has increased. There is still a fair way to go, but without these encouraging figures, I’m sure my motivation would have waned. It is also good to note that I am aging slower than the norm.
Altogether, I’m very glad I invested in my Hume scale and band.

### 5/5 — Great for understanding health and fitness

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

I have been able to understand my workouts, sleep, and energy better to improve my overall health

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

I have got both band and scale and I love how detailed information it gives me

### 2/5 — Hume seems to be Beta

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

I just switched over from using my WHOOP app for the last few years because I wanted more data about muscle mass and using the human HomePod after two weeks using the band and pod there are many features on the app that either provide a glitch code and don’t work or they’re not even available yet because in Beta, despite being advertised as a feature. Even there, Feedback form glitches and it doesn’t work

The data that’s collected is typically one to two hours late coming into the app even with the latest software updates settings in place. That’s not helpful when you’re trying to dial in your training performance.

### 5/5 — Motivational

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

Keeps motivation going, great health addition.

### 5/5 — Band and Scales - Great Combination

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

Working in tandem the two devices provide a thorough insight of the body and clearly demonstrates how lifestyle and habits change your health trajectory. Recommended!

### 5/5 — Excellent piece of kit

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

Having bought the pod, lead me to buy the band. In tandem, they give me all the information I need, to keep on track, with my training goals.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Removed key features

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

The app use to be a lot better. More things were free and the UI had more to offer. It feels like they cut the UI very lean and stopped providing as much information and metrics

### 1/5 — Love the Hume

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is the information provided with all the details are hard to understand. There is no recommendation to help better your score

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

I had such high hopes for this. The app is not user-friendly. The first seven days are supposed to track your baseline, so far has only tracked three hours of sleep. I know I did 10,000 steps because that’s my baseline and it got stuck at 8000 and wouldn’t move. I’ve adjusted the band, made it tighter. Re-downloaded the app. It clearly isn’t going to record an accurate baseline for the seven days. Also have tried to contact the company a few times with no response, workouts are locked and only walking weight training and running are available to choose, and it doesn’t pick up when you’re working out otherwise. I feel like I got scammed.

### 1/5 — Inconsistent and incorrect

*2026-08-27, version 9.25.0*

It’s very disappointing to pay so much for something that works so poorly. I get random readings for the band, and a +2 lbs on the pod each time. All my numbers are wrong as a result of the domino effect. I have had to reset three times already. I have multiple other devices that all are fairly consistent with each other, but the Hume pod and band are in a different world of their own (that’s not a compliment).

### 1/5 — App crashing

*2026-08-27, version 9.25.0*

App is absolutely woeful! Keeps crashing!

### 1/5 — Results

*2026-08-27, version 9.24.1*

Results of my first scan changed as I was reviewing my data and before my next weigh in.

### 1/5 — Could be better

*2026-08-27, version 9.24.1*

Logging food intake is time consuming. There could be a way of using the same meals from previous days in a simple one tap instead of having to add in all the food/ingredients again. Nutrition and activity reports are not readily available even with the Plus subscription. Daily reports seem like repetition of each one with just the numbers adapted for the day.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2026-08-25, version 9.24.1*

I asked for the Hume scale for my birthday but I’m nothing but disappointed in it. I prefer my old scale that doesn’t completely rely on an app that doesn’t collect data from other sources such as Fitbit. I’ve jumped through hoops adding Apple Health to connect it all and nothing has worked. So very disappointing. I wish I knew beforehand, I would have never asked for the scale. The limited data you receive without a paid subscription is interesting but does not paint a correct picture without connecting the apps. I wish I could return it!

### 1/5 — Changed to be useless

*2026-08-25, version 9.24.1*

Been using it for years. Wile it has been buggy it was usable until they moved all of the body and fat metrics off the charts. Now if I want to track my body changes I have to do 5 taps per body part to see changes instead of one simple scroll to understand what to work on. It’s turned from useful tool to a useless toy. Tried reaching out to support. Crickets.

### 1/5 — Inaccurate at best

*2026-08-25, version 9.24.1*

Inaccurate in terms of body measurements. Probable only gets our weight correct. Hydration will impact your results.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fantastic tool

*2026-08-29, version 9.25.0*

Love the Hume app, it’s become a vital life tool

### 5/5 — Amazing Health Metrics

*2026-08-29, version 9.25.0*

I am in my initial phase of using the scale and band and it’s very informative and accurate in comparison to a machine I use in the gym. I am yet to see the long term benefits

### 5/5 — Would recommend

*2026-08-29, version 9.25.0*

I would recommend this product makes weigh in more interesting at home. Would be even better if it shows lean mass by more detailed body parts

### 5/5 — New way to a new you

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

Since investing in the human health scale, I’ve become more aware of Trix other than just body weight. Seeing the difference in my body recomposition in the mirror is impressive and knowing what I have to work on or markers, I look at how mean be more efficient with the busy life.. It’s a great investment and it’s very encouraging to try to dial-in all your health scores.

### 5/5 — Didn’t know what to expect

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

Right off, this is the first wearable I’ve had, so I’ve got nothing to compare it to. However, I love the Hume ecosystem (Pod, Band, app).

The AI has calls me out on things I knew were important, but not how interwoven all of it is.

There’s room for improvement, but it’s given me some good insight into my body/mind.
Customer service has been stellar and responsive.

I hope they listen to the folks have a less than optimal experience, bc it’d be a shame for this not to succeed. HUME, pay attention to the grumps in some of the fb groups, parse thru the neg. (You’ll always have unhappy people, look for patterns).

### 5/5 — Longevity Tool

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

Wife and I bought Hume 2 band and scale, starting journey and so far impressed!

### 5/5 — User Friendly

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

This scale was very easy to use and set up on the app is very user friendly. I’m only on day 2 so I’m anxious to see how this tracks. I’ve been using a different tracking system that is covered through my insurance but I just didn’t feel like I was seeing the real results and numbers. The only thing that is still bothering me with the Hume scale, is that there are a few pieces that came with it that are not explained. There is no paperwork and when I scanned the QR code there is no mention of these extra pieces or what they are for. I’ll have to Google it. But, it would be nice if that information was included.

### 5/5 — Being the best you can be

*2026-08-28, version 9.25.0*

I bought this watch after losing my husband last year very suddenly
The shock and trauma me stress caused my heart rate and blood pressure to soar which was something I had never had before .
I seen this advertised I bought it and the scales and I have never looked back
I'm down 20lbs and my fat percentage is down 10% and my lean mass is up 12% and my water percentage is at 50% now not the 34 it was when j first started using the band

This band has changed my whole outlook on life I don't just look at the numbers on the scale I look at the bigger picture and now it's helping me be the best version of myself I can be
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their lives
Thank you Julie

### 5/5 — Vera
