### 5/5 — Latest updates

*2026-02-22, version 3.2.1*

I love the latest updates, especially the quick ID feature and the Recent Actions. It’s a great app for keeping up with my inventory, it’s easy to use and does exactly what I need and believe me, I’ve tried every other one.

### 5/5 — Amazing job with the last update

*2026-01-16*

This is by far the best app to keep track of my inventory
It has everything I need and now with the ai options i can point to the cigar with the camera and know more details of what I am smoking
Great Job!!

### 1/5 — Tracking Doesn’t Work

*2026-03-06, version 4.0.0*

I saw this in the App Store and was really excited to use. Take a picture of a cigar and it identifies the cigar. Now, the app does have a fee but for what it does I was willing to pay for it. You get 10 free identification and I used it on 10 cigars. It identified 9 so that’s not bad. If you have a big collection as I do then you need to upgrade and pay for the app. Unlimited, awesome. So I paid the fee and I still only get the 10 free after I bought the app. I figure it is probably user error and I didn’t get it right. So, I emailed the company a week ago got no response. So, back to looking for an app that does what this one claims to do. If you have a small collection maybe it will work for your needs. I recommend you to keep searching for a good app. In theory this could be great..

### 2/5 — Opus Not found

*2026-06-07, version 5.6.2*

Bought a year subscription started with Opus 25 yr. Anniversary. AI came back as Davidoff. Tried typing Opus in search, nothing. Pretty disappointed it didn’t have anything in there for an iconic brand.

### 2/5 — Bad app

*2026-05-24, version 5.4.0*

Quick ID stop working after adding humidor

### 3/5 — One Drawback

*2026-05-29*

There is no way to export a list of cigars in each humidor or a master list of all cigars. This is frustrating as, in order to prepare such a thing so as to have a paper list of all sticks in my collection, I literally have to screenshot everything (painstakingly tedious) and feed it into ChatGPT and ask AI to generate a list. I wish that I would have known this before logging my 250+ sticks into the Journal. I definitely would have went with a different app instead, but, at this point, I am holding out hope that a fix is made to the app to allow this rather than having to start all over again with a different app, which is a strong possibility.

On a good note: the functionality of the app and usefulness of the app in all other respects is great. I would highly recommend if the above existed but fall short in recommending because it does not.

**Developer response:** ***updated***
I have added the export feature on version 5.6.2

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review.

First, I completely understand your frustration. After investing the time to log more than 250 cigars, not having a simple way to export your collection is a valid concern.

While the app does include backup functionality, I can see how that is not the same as having a clean, printable export of your inventory. Your feedback has given me a better understanding of how important this feature is for collectors who want a physical copy of their collection or a master inventory list.

I am actively considering adding export functionality, but I would love to better understand what information you would want included. Would you prefer a simple inventory list, a humidor-by-humidor report, or a more detailed export with ratings, purchase information, and notes?

If you'd be willing to share your thoughts, please email me at support@flnetworks.com. I personally read every message and am always open to improving the app based on user feedback.

Thank you again for the kind words about the app overall. The next update will also introduce a built-in feature request system to make it easier for users to suggest future enhancements.

I appreciate your support and hope to hear from you soon.

### 4/5 — Handling Cigars is clumsy

*2026-07-16, version 7.0.1*

This app has some good features, but there is no way to transfer x out of y cigars of a type from one humidor to another. It seems the copy paste has to be done field by field. Oddly, when a cigar in a humidors court goes to zero it’s still listed as in the humidor one the cigar page but not in the humidors page.
It would be better to have the cigars as a top level item, AI download once, add to any or none of the humidors. Also it would be nice to have lengths and ring gauges. The app is considerable better than its competitors, now that I downloaded them. Fast response to my review that’s rate and impressive. He ask me to email him and I will in a day or two. He cares and that is rate for a developer!

### 4/5 — If you have a Humidor you need an app

*2025-12-14, version 2.4.1*

Developer is very responsive and committed to improving this app based on user-feedback. Have a question? You get a response quick. The AI component is a nice new addition.

### 5/5 — I tried a lot of them and this is it!

*2026-09-05, version 7.3.0*

This app is definitely the way to go when it comes to collecting cigars I have tried almost all the other ones and they don’t even come close to this one
It absolutely has all the features you’ll ever need

If you collect cigars and have $9 to spare and you don’t use this app? You are definitely missing out!
It even keeps track of how my palate is changing over time

### 5/5 — Amazing Tracking App!

*2026-08-25, version 7.3.0*

Looked high and low for an app that allows me to track what I’m enjoying but also doesn’t take up tons of time scrounging up detail on each stick. The AI search integration is perfect and gets the info you need. No BS. Also had a few messages to support and they are ON TOP of it. Incredible team and this app will continue to evolve into perfection! The only thing I’d like to see eventually is a social aspect. Not what I expected when I downloaded, but if a community element evolves, I’d be stoked.

Thanks!!

### 5/5 — Keeps Getting Better

*2026-08-16, version 7.3.0*

Developer keeps making improvements, is very responsive and even will add requested features. I love the new addition to connect to the Govee hydrometer. If you have a decent collection and want to track it, this app will do the job.

### 5/5 — The Best Cigar Journal Available

*2026-08-05, version 7.1.2*

I’ve tried several cigar journal apps over the years, and Humidor Journal has become the one I use every day.

The app is intuitive, beautifully designed, and has everything I need to track my collection, rate cigars, and record each smoking experience. What started as a simple inventory app has become a genuine journal of my cigar journey.

What truly sets this app apart, however, is the developer.

I reached out with a few ideas that I thought would improve the experience. Dariel responded almost immediately, listened carefully, and within days had implemented one of those suggestions in a new update. As someone who has worked with software developers before, I know how uncommon that level of responsiveness is.

The new “My Journey” feature has transformed the app for me. Instead of simply reviewing cigars, I’m now documenting the memories, lessons, pairings, conversations, and experiences that surround them. It’s become much more than a rating app—it’s become a personal cigar diary.

If you’re looking for an app to manage your humidor, you’ll love it.

If you’re looking for an app that helps preserve the stories behind every cigar you smoke, this one is in a class of its own.

Thank you, Dariel, for building such a fantastic app and for continuing to make it even better.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great cigar app

*2026-07-27, version 7.0.1*

The AI is a great tool to use it’s cost friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to learn more and use it as a journal

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-07-20, version 7.0.1*

An easy to use, intuitive app. The ability to maintain inventory for multiple humidors is extremely helpful.

### 5/5 — Great iPhone Cigar App

*2026-07-15, version 7.0.1*

Great little app to track what’s in your humidors, as well as reviews. The reviews section is most important to me, as I want to remember what each cigar is like when I find myself on the road, away from my sticks.

### 5/5 — A Sweet Solution

*2026-07-06, version 6.1.0*

Dariel seems to have thought of it all. Very comprehensive and easy to use. The AI scan seems to have very little trouble in determining the correct smoke. You want to generate more- like composition, CA ratings, your own personal notes? The app has it. Room for photos too. In my book, it’s a winner! 99 in my unofficial CA rating! 👍

### 5/5 — Absolutely the best app for cigars

*2026-06-07, version 5.6.2*

I tried all the other apps and some are pretty good but by far this one is the most complete

### 5/5 — Humidor Journal Pro Review

*2026-05-09, version 5.3.0*

This App is awesome as it helps me maintain and organize my cigar collection. Easy to use with lots of useful information. I love this App!
