You can select the word in alphabetical order (English meanings) by clicking “select” in the menu bar. Basic everyday Hunanese words!

Over 38 million people speak Xiang dialect. It is primarily spoken at home or between close friends. They speak the Common Chinese (Mandarin) when at school or doing business. Some examples of Xiang speakers are Mao Zedong, Zuo Zongtang, and Huang Xing.

This app gives you a taste of the Xiang dialect!
