### 3/5 — Update for iPhone X and Up?

*2021-01-30*

I utterly adore Hundreds and Canabalt on iOS, I really do. However both games desperately need a very simple update for users of iPhone X and up.

Please note that I’m not necessarily asking for the game to be displayed across the entire screen space of Apple’s latest iPhones like you did with Heist, however so many really cool games that haven’t been updated in the last couple years now PERMANENTLY display the time, network/WiFi reception strength and battery details on the side of the screen on iPhone X. Yes, even WHILE IN GAME. There’s just no way to manually hide these details at the users end and it’s incredibly annoying and immersion breaking.

I’ve spoken to several other devs, and apparently all it takes is swinging a very straightforward update over to Apple HQ, and a few days later, Hey Presto, it’s all sorted. It really would mean the world to your real fans with iPhone X and up.

Right now, I’m giving just three stars, but I will gladly bump my rating straight back up to the five stars the actual game deserves and submit a fresh review if this gets sorted. In the meantime, I’ll be keeping my fingers firmly crossed. Thanks for listening <3

[PLEASE NOTE]:

Serious props to devs like UsTwo, Simogo, Amanita, Playdead and many, many more who have listened to fan feedback and fixed this issue! Thank you! :)

### 4/5 — シンプル

*2016-02-24*

ゲームシステムは他の人のレビュー通り
最後のステージに近づくに連れかなりのドマゾ仕様になっていきますので覚悟しましょう 良ゲーです

### 2/5 — High polish on little substance

*2016-02-08, version 1.45*

This game is very polished in terms of presentation - graphics, sound, guidance, mood.

The concept itself is largely mundane. Some levels are mildly amusing, many are simple exercises in chaos, chance, and opportunity.

I played through 30 levels or so which was more than enough. For five minutes you think "cool!" after which you are done.

### 2/5 — Game doesn't advance to level 31!

*2015-10-16, version 1.45*

This is driving me nuts, this game is so awesome and every time I beat level 30 it stays stuck on level 30 and never lets me do 31...

### 3/5 — Why 5 Star???

*2015-08-21*

I've purchased the game after reading the reviews of the game but I didn't find a single element to rate the game 5 stars. Overall Average Game.

### 2/5 — Level 30

*2015-06-28, version 1.45*

It won't let me play beyond level 30 even though I've beat it numerous times!! Such a shame, I enjoyed up until then

### 4/5 — Great game, but...

*2014-12-10*

This game is awesome. However, after the update, I was going back to finishing the rest of my cypher menu and I realized that the codes have changed. Is this intentional? Also, I can't change the symbols with the slider anymore, they're all blank. That doesn't seem intentional at all...or is it!? Bug? I'm on an iPhone 6 Plus.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2014-12-08, version 1.43*

Finally iOS 8 and iPhone 6 friendly.
Been playing this game for some time now. Great and quick pick up and play feature.

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2014-11-01, version 1.3*

This game is unbelievably beautiful, frustrating, and challenging! I only wish it had more to it!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2014-10-08, version 1.3*

Fun game, but it's easy to get stuck on a level and frustrated. I'm glad you can skip levels though. Definitely worth the money! Thanks a bunch!

### 4/5 — Hundreds!

*2014-06-16*

A great game, a wonderful blend of infuriation and achievement, purchased for the children and played by all.

### 4/5 — Extremely Challenging

*2014-02-11*

This game is fun and keeps you interested. However, it can sometimes get really challenging which causes you to get really frustrated. Lol me :P Despite of that, I still recommend this. It just requires a little more patience than other games.

### 3/5 — More annoying than fun.

*2014-01-17, version 1.3*

Neat concept and nice presentation, but as the title says... Kinda irritating, not really enjoyable.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Boring

*2018-09-27*

Waste of money, move on.

### 1/5 — No 64-bit Support! !!FIXED!!

*2017-08-23, version 1.45*

Great app and it's 64-bit!

### 1/5 — No instructions, no hints

*2015-08-11, version 1.45*

I have zero idea how to play this, no hints as to whether my actions are good or bad.

I understand that minimalism is in fashion, but not including a Help section when your game is so unintuitive is unforgivable.

### 1/5 — Crashes constantly

*2014-12-17, version 1.45*

Could be good, but it crashes all the time. Not what you expect for the price.

### 1/5 — Entertaining but glitchy

*2014-09-16*

Game will not progress past level 31. Developers seem to have abandoned it :(

### 1/5 — Springboard crashes

*2014-03-08, version 1.3*

Used to be a great game, now a total heap. Save your cash. Running latest iOS 7 on iPhone4 S. Crashes on EVERY launch. Garbage support.

### 1/5 — Crashes all the time

*2014-01-26*

Don't even bothering wasting five dollars on this. I pressed "round 1" to start the game and it instantly crashes. Tried 3 times and it never worked. Make your game work before charging a fortune for something that isn't worth the price tag.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2013-12-14, version 1.3*

Looking forward to this cool game but it does not load round one. Hoping for update but at the moment a waste if money

### 1/5 — Ehhhh

*2013-12-12, version 1.3*

Many better games are out there for half the cost or less. This was a huge waste.

### 1/5 — Not worth the price

*2013-11-11, version 1.3*

If this was a 0.99 game it would be OK, but at $4.99 it is a ripoff

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2020-02-03*

Fun, challenging game. Great to look at.

### 5/5 — Really fantastic simple game

*2019-07-08*

Love if

### 5/5 — No iOS 11 support?!

*2017-08-14*

Too bad.

### 5/5 — Update to 64 bit!

*2017-03-31, version 1.45*

App will not be compatible with future versions of iOS. Is it possible you can update the app?

### 5/5 — 64bit Support

*2017-03-28, version 1.45*

Probably will not work on iOS 11 or future hardware.

### 5/5 — Highly engaging game

*2016-01-06*

I love this game and my 3 year old adores it too. It is sleek, sharp, fun, highly playable and brilliantly crafted, right down to the expansive and haunting soundtrack. I am surprised by the comments of an earlier reviewer complaining about their inability to work out what to do; the premise is incredibly simple and is even reflected in the game's name. Would recommend to all!

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2015-12-15, version 1.45*

Don't let its simplicity fool you - this game gets devilishly hard. Very satisfying when you beat the later levels but does get to be borderline impossible. Your perseverance will eventually pay off though!

### 5/5 — 良いです。

*2015-06-14*

シンプルだけどスリリングでハマります。ちょっと高いけど、良ゲーです。

### 5/5 — Hardest game ever

*2015-01-20, version 1.45*

This game at first seemed fairly easy, even though it was in the impossible section of the App Store. Then, around level three or four, it gets extremely hard! It literally makes you want to pull your hair out. Great game, easy code

### 5/5 — Excellent.

*2014-12-08, version 1.43*

I get very bored very quickly with games on the iPhone. This is not one of those cases. The concept is so simple yet constantly changing. Great job.
