## What is Hungarian Bingo?

Hungarian Bingo is bingo for learning Hungarian. A word is called out in English: find its Hungarian translation on a 5×5 board and tap it. Every correct match clears a square and uncovers a piece of a picture of Hungary, from a village farmhouse to a Budapest street.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Hear the word: it's called out in English and shown in yellow below the board.
• Tap the translation: you hear each Hungarian word as you tap it. A wrong guess flashes red.
• Win: five in a row across, down or diagonally (Line), or match every word on the board (Blackout).
• Turn it around: tap the flag to hear Hungarian and find the English instead.

THREE LEVELS, 75 WORDS
• The House: ablak, lépcső, pince…
• Clothing: ruha, nyakkendő, sál…
• In the Kitchen: hűtő, tűzhely, csésze…
Every word is recorded by native Hungarian speakers, and in English.

MEET A HUNGARIAN LEGEND
Win a level and meet a legend from Hungarian history: Attila the Hun; Albert Szent-Györgyi, the Nobel Prize–winning scientist who made vitamin C from paprika; and the poet Hannah Szenes.

PRACTICE BETWEEN GAMES
• Flashcards: every word read aloud. Flip the card, then swipe right if you knew it.
• Analytics: your times for each level and mode, and a study list of the words you miss or are slow on.
