When I called customer care they are saying we can cancel order. If order is taking long time , why vendors are accepting. And there is no option for cancellation. It was hard for me to order the food from the app. I mean I was at Verizon today there was not proper mobile data connection and I don’t work for Verizon, I have been there for gig. The payment has failed for the 1st time and the money got deducted from my account and payment was failed in your app. 2nd time I placed order again. My order was successfully placed. Within 30 minutes my 1 st order payment got back in my account which is good thing but I felt so hard to get food. I didnt like ordering food online. When we are in front of the food counter. Fraud ### 1/5 — Worst app *2025-06-19* Shop is closed still accept orders, then you will not able to cancel the order. No customer care Will not able to contact the shop to cancel the order from their side. Cannot submit Order review as submit button hide behind the keyboard. Worst app ever. A developer contacted me to explaining me how to cancel the order, I know how to cancel the order the thing is that if I am not in cafeteria and ordering from my desk so that when I come to cafeteria the order will be ready for me to take, now if the shop is closed how I am going to know that the shop is closed or not. If the shop is closed then the owner of the shop should mark like not accepting the orders as of now. Also I don’t want to give feedback for my previous order but the app is making it mandatory otherwise you will not able to move forward, why on the earth it is mandatory, and when I try to give feedback and submit boom there is no Submit button fist it wants you to give the feedback compulsory then there is no submit button, how am I suppose to move forward, that’s why it’s dumb app, and so called developers not taking actions on it, wow I am also a developer and I would take these notes very seriously, I mean it is the end user who make the app works perfectly by testing it out and giving hard feedbacks so you should accept it and make the changes. **Developer response:** Hi Avi, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Team HungerBox. ### 1/5 — Zero Star for you!! *2024-08-27, version 7.35.0* Always happens this , 1st we have to wait in a large queue and after sometime they got short of veggies or chapatis, no return policy in App. Got only Dal and rice today instead of booking for full meal because nothing else was left at ATP , Pune. If you don’t have enough food stop taking order through App. People can easily scan and pay for what left or leave but this way it feels like you are looting people. If you are lucky enough someday and app works fine, still we have to spend so much time on this app even for buying a Rs. 10 water bottle. 3. Wipro should make Hunger box as one of the payment options rather imposing it on us and keeping it the only payment mode. 4. This is so frustrating as you can’t buy the item lying in front of u at the counter, but you have to look for the same in app item menu, add to cart, make payment, receive QR, and scan QR to vendor machine. I am very disappointed in it. Initially I tried to link my Paytm and PhonePe apps but was unable to do so. It showed me an option to link Paytm but failed to accept the phone number and making it a mandate to use the company’s number instead of my personal, there was no such provision even though it mentions PhonePe as one of the options in the list. No I don’t want to add my card to your app and then order. I can directly use my card for orders. ### 1/5 — In the name of digital transformation ordering food is still a long way off of cash system *2020-01-29* The UI, looks feels are all designed by some idiotic UX Developers. Kindergarten going little ones would draw and design them even better. 1. There’s always a delay in ordering it could either be due to infrastructural issue such as network or their own servers. 2. The alternate kiosks installed to order in the cafeteria does not work all the time. 3. BBInstant Vending Machines have been integrated into HungerBox why on earth would HungerBox do that when that machine would not even show up most of the time? 4. Feedbacks given to restaurants are useless. Because they’d ask for a comment when it’s any less than 4 and most end up rating them 4 or a 5 and all the restaurants would have a rating of 4 or above. Which isn’t the truth. IMHO. I’d curse on my employers for taking the decision of going digital and abandoning cash system.
