They fix one, and a new one appears immediately. Currently the past Tuesday paintings are completely broken and unplayable. I’ve noticed the latest update has changed the look of the game. The screen almost seems zoomed out and the game screen is a lot smaller than it used to be. It’s so small now I can barely see the numbers and tap a square without overlapping Since the update I can’t tap any cells on the entire right side column. Nothing happens when I tap. I can swipe multiple and it works but then it fills in other cells I don’t want and have to erase. I look forward to my Tuesday puzzles each week. But this latest update, the shrinking of the grid instead of letting it take up the whole screen, might actually be where I say goodbye. It’s made the grid numbers along the top and side really difficult to read. Please. At least give the option for the puzzleboard to take up the full screen. I don’t want to abandon a game I’ve loved for so long, but if I’m getting a headache from squinting at the screen to see the numbers, realistically I’m no longer having fun. But.. *2026-02-10* I've played this game for a long long time. i've completed all of the main puzzles, all of the frescoes, and all but two of the tuesday seasons. i love it obviously but there's a lot of bugs. first of all the game center achievements just don't work. i've completed all classic levels and done so many tuesday puzzles but those achievements were never completed. second of all im the tuesday seasons the max stars you can get per season is 156. i have most at 156 but my 2020 season says 159 and my 2024 season says 153. third off the game isn't cropped correctly my level is cut off at the top of the screen. fourth of all and the most important. very recently, while playing the game will completely freeze not only the game but also my phone for about 5-10 seconds. i can't turn off my phone when this happened i just have to wait it out. not a huge deal right now but could be pretty concerning in the future. i hope this and the season stars can get fixed particularly. i also hope the colors fading in when you color them in instead of just being there right away is changed back to the original as well as the colorblind supports original form. thanks to the team for making an updating this game, i am a huge fan and don't want to seem like im just complaining. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Ruined a solid game *2026-07-01, version 6.838* Used to love this game worked great off line so it was my go to on planes but apparently now you need an account so they can store your info online and you can’t play it without a connection sad to see ### 1/5 — Game Center Achievements *2026-03-20, version 6.821* Need to have an option to sync achievements if you have come from playing this game on android. The unresponsive painting as a result of the heavy load of transparent fills is bad. Losing my accessories was bad, but not as bad as the gameplay. The app also isn’t keeping its connection to my Apple account. What your players want is more content, not gimmicky design changes that break gameplay. Please roll back the superfluous transparency and “fade up” on tile fills. This most recent time I’ve noticed a bug, I can’t go back into my old Tuesday puzzles from past years because it tells me to “Wait” I’ve waited and waited and went into other menus and stuf because if I click on the wait icon I get glitched out and I can’t go back to other menus unless I click on my cat. The only fix I have to getting into these Tuesday puzzles is to fully close the app and reload it and that only works sometimes. The puzzle is smaller on my screen than it used to be. I start a puzzle, and it’s already like that. It’s like there is a border of blank space around the whole puzzle area. I love that the puzzles use real color levels to create gorgeous pixel art, instead of the usual black-and-white gameplay followed by randomly filled colors. It really feels like you’re painting the pictures and reveling something you helped create. The puzzle sizes are also perfect for the phone screen, never too overwhelming and large, but also never overly easy like many classic color nonograms if you keep the grid small. That saiddddd it’s been constantly crashing lately, which is really frustrating because the core game is so good. Honestly, I think the game would benefit from losing the clunky 3D cat and leaning fully into pixel art. That’s clearly where this game shines, and simplifying the visuals would likely help performance too. I say this with love: strip it down to its bones, redo the art direction, and keep it simple. The gameplay is strong enough to stand on its own. That’s what makes this game special. Tapping isn’t sufficient enough to fill in even one square and now I have to drag it, resulting in making mistakes.
