They have sold my details to scammers who are now constantly phoning me, and asking me to select Chinese or English messages. It started the same day as I used the app for the first and only time. The coupon/red-packet button sits right next to "Submit Order" with no confirmation step in between — I accidentally placed an order this way, and it's happened to me more than once. There's no self-serve cancellation either, so once you misclick, you're stuck relying on support. And that's where it really falls apart. I contacted support within a second of the accidental order. They tried to reach the store but took 10+ minutes and failed — I called the store myself and got through immediately, but by then the drink was already made. After an hour-long chat, support only offered a $4 credit and refused a real refund, even though this was clearly their design flaw, not user error. It got worse from there. My account was then locked, and support told me I had "violated the user agreement" and posed a "payment security risk" — essentially blaming me for their own design flaw. When I asked for clarification on what I supposedly violated, they gave no specifics and stopped responding. Reading other reviews here, this isn't an isolated case — multiple people describe the same thing: platform-side delays or failures, support refusing to take accountability, and only offering a partial fix after a lot of persistent pushing. That's a pattern, not a coincidence. One was almost empty and the other four were half empty. They were packed together in one bag with NO cup holder, so the entire bottom of the bag was soaked with green tea. We order 10+ milk teas from HungryPanda every week, but this customer service was ridiculous. They said the other drinks were “still drinkable.” Even worse, they chose to refund the Taro Purple Yam drink, which was basically the one that was almost completely empty.
