I do wish I was able to put my current licenses in my apple wallet for fast access ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — another NYS grant disaster *2026-07-08* Similarly to other reviews I’m seeing from many years ago, this app will not allow me to buy a fishing license. Not only have I been a NYS resident for 10 years, I have been a state employee for 7 years. Despite this, the app is telling me that I am a non-resident of NYS. Is this app supposed to be a payment portal or a portal to Hell? Anyway, this will give me something good to complain about while I’m on vacation. ### 1/5 — App barely works when it does *2026-05-27* When you go to purchase a license it will lock you in a perpetual loading screen now. I have had this app for several years and it’s always been a problem. Now it’s pretty much unusable might as well go to your local sporting goods store and get your licenses that way. I think it’s five stars but it works and does what it has to do. I lost my paper license, but since I had the electronic version available on this app, I didn’t need to pay for a replacement license. I always have my cell phone on me and the app is all I needed for proof of my fishing license! It even works when not in cell service.
