Big mistake. If I’m tracking, my movement and the phone locks, it’s all gone. If I’m tracking, and I get a phone call, it’s all gone. The multiple different map layers help me to find the terrain I am looking for, especially in unfamiliar territory. I use this app frequently while in the woods to help keep me oriented while trying to get the certain spots that I have marked. GPS location is very accurate and downloaded areas can be viewed offline which is great for making it back to the truck!
