### 1/5 — Log works, but has serious issues

*2019-01-13*

Whenever I click on the “stands” tab, it shows that I’m not a HuntLog pro member. When I click on “restore purchases” it says that “You’re currently subscribed to this” but it still won’t allow me to add stands, it just prompts me to upgrade again.

 This is extremely frustrating.

Also, the “Hunts to see a deer” is inaccurate. I have 6 hunts and have seen 40 deer, but it still shows 1.5 hunts to see a deer.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, and I apologize for the issues you're experiencing. We are currently working through some updates to the app that will address this issue you've experienced!

To answer your question on the "Hunts to see a deer," this number isn't related to the total number of deer that have been seen. It actually measures how many times you have to hunt just to see a deer (either one deer or multiple deer). Another way to look at it is "How many times do I have to hunt to see a (or some) deer?"

Dividing the total number of hunts by the number of hunts on which at least one deer was seen gives you the "Hunts to see a deer." I hope this is helpful!

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2018-07-10*

Does not keep a hunt saved for more than a couple minutes.
Please fix!!

**Developer response:** Bowhunter12345,
Thank you for your feedback and letting us know about your experience. We've done some testing and haven't seen the same issue that you are experiencing. A couple things to check...

1. Make sure you hit the "Save Hunt" button at the bottom of the screen before you navigate to another screen.

2. If you are a free user, the data is stored locally on your phone, making it more susceptible to being lost, especially if you sign-in under another account or switch devices. Subscribers, however, enjoy the benefit of having their data stored securely in the cloud. If you are not a subscriber, I would encourage you to give the free-trial a shot to see if that resolves the issue.

If you don't mind, please reach out to me at gabe@huntlogapp.com and I can help you troubleshoot. Thank you again for your feedback!

### 3/5 — No support

*2020-02-14*

Just purchased and have questions. No support. Emails returned as non deliverable. Love the concept. Want to enter
Actual gps location of stand as I hunt with climber on public land. Only lets you drop pin which is not accurate. Maybe there is way but can’t get help. Hopefully this review will get me a contact before I cancel subscription.

Update. Contacted and problem was an error screen that was screwing everything up. Screen error corrected and all issues were resolved. Communicating with developer and hope this app will do what I want. Will update once I actually use it

**Developer response:** Thanks for reaching out through the info@huntlogapp.com email address, and I certainly appreciate your questions and comments. I'll be getting back to you shortly!

### 5/5 — Great app for hunters

*2017-07-31*

I didn’t think that we needed any kind of app for hunting our property - there’s only 3-5 of us hunting at any given time during the season. A friend told me about the free trial last season, so we decided to try out Huntlog. Didn’t see anything very beneficial about it at first, but after we had about 4 hunts in and finished setting up all of our stands, I started seeing some pretty interesting info about our property that we had either forgotten about or didn’t realize at all. For example, we’ve got a stand on the back side of the property that’s been inactive for a few years - mainly because it’s hard to get to, but also because it’s not usually a good wind direction and the fire lane it’s on has limited sight distance. But that stand kept popping up in the prime stands page in the app. So, one morning hunting with my son, we took a chance and set up there. That morning, I was able to bag a 205 lb. 10 point (rare on our property) with my boy. If I could post a screenshot from my harvests page, I’d prove it. I think we will definitely be using Huntlog this season. Another thing is that after the season had ended, I looked through all of our stats and was impressed at how detailed and clear a picture the app was able to generate of our deer herd. We’re going to need to cull some does this season and see if that improves our doe:buck ratio. Hope that brings some big ones back to our property!

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2016-10-15*

I am so glad someone developed this app. Just in time for bow season! The app provides a way to keep up with the details of each hunt. You can automatically identify trends of your hunts. The app provides helpful input on planning how, where and when to go hunting. Also allows me combine my hunts with others in my hunting club.
