Often there are sites that have features that you would note that get obscured by the tree canopy. Another good feature would be if you could select a marker (treestand, parking lot) and the cursor would indicate if you were headed in that direction—sometimes it’s tough to navigate because it zooms in and you have to zoom out manually to see where you need to go. ### 4/5 — huntwise app review *2026-01-29, version 9.3.7* Great app overall, hunt prediction is always relatively accurate and has good property/public land maps. The only complaint I have is it’s very glitchy at times and can get pretty frustrating. I saw everything I wanted like wind direction and percent of deer movement. I woke up on Friday to go Hunting that morning and the app would not let me see the dear percentage on it. I am so mad with this right now if it would not give me the week, I would put a one star on here. I am so mad it will not show me the weekend. You know one star. You have to pay 19 dollars a month or over 50 dollars a year. 😡😡😡it said 22% movement of deer. So please take a guess what was at my stand!! A lot of deer!!! Btw, that was on Monday!!! ### 1/5 — Back to the future? *2025-12-16, version 9.3.5* How come just before this last update I had to call 30 plus times and still never got a refund or some type of compensation due to the fact that my app wasn’t working properly (the huntcast) finally came out with an update and now land ownership names are reverted back to 2020 or before! I know this because when I looked up a name it said my mother still owned a house that she sold back in 2020! What a joke this app has become and I just got charged about a week ago for my elite subscription for the year yet every time almost when I open the app I have ads popping up and blocking my screen that I have to close out of!! They state they know me when talking to me (not knowing it’s me they are speaking with). I also started to receive a lot of unsolicited phone calls asking to use my farm for hunting. All claim it’s from this app. Basically this app takes your personal information and sells it via a subscription to hunters. They say it’s ok because it’s “public information” they pull the information from the same place a realtor would. I have submitted complaints everywhere I can.
