Has some interface issues of graphics at the bottom on an iPhone….a little messy from a graphic standpoint but very helpful for small 1 man business ### 3/5 — Practical *2026-08-19, version 42.2.3* Hurdlr is practical but not very flexible. I like that it helps you keep track of all your activities but I feel like it doesn’t allow for ease of use when entering data. For example if I set up a rule, it seems to want to apply that rule to all entry. So I enter a new rule and I end up entering a bunch of rules. Maybe I’m using the program wrong but it doesn’t seem very intuitive to me. I do like that it keeps everything in order and allows for easy tax filing if you keep it up. ### 3/5 — Okay Quality *2026-07-21, version 42.2.3* The requirement to always keep Hurdlr open is both inconvenient and taxing. Figure out how to make this app record auto miles and all expenses while closed on the smart phone. No excuses accepted. We know what they are like. ### 2/5 — Auto trip tracking *2026-07-19, version 42.2.3* There isn’t an option to just push a button to turn on GPS tracking, and track mileage (or I haven’t found it). In order to have the app track your mileage you have to turn on the “always on” option in settings for your GPS. “Only while using the app” isn’t an option if you want the app to automatically log your miles. Very disappointing. There’s no reason the app should be tracking me 100% of the time. This app is amazing! I can track which company is using which car for which trip because I use the same cars for different companies and for personal. The business did not require a lot, so the app was perfect for the last ten years, until the beginning of 2026 when all transactions were held up unless I subscribed. Nonetheless, I was on the search for another free app. This app has been a Godsend as I’m able to not only save my information, rather my daughter’s information as well. The categories are already prefilled and with a free trial for Premium, estimated tax payments are automatically calculated. This has been a game changer. Even for the free account, I’m able to maintain clean business records. However, once I paid it never worked. I reached out to try and get help without response. I’ve tried to cancel my paid version but no response. I am still paying but not receiving the benefits. ### 1/5 — App Sucks *2026-06-02* Every other day your app asks me to relink all my banks. It happened countless times, I relink them then two days I will asked again. App is really bad, will not recommend it to anyone. **Developer response:** Hi there! At this point it would be better not to pay for a subscription and just make an excel spreadsheet. ### 1/5 — Doesn't even work!! *2026-03-31, version 42.2.3* This app is good in theory, but twice now the app has stopped tracking my mileage when I PAY for it. The first time, my motion tracking somehow got turned off. Fine. This time? It's been on this whole time. I make my payments and everything is set as it should. So why do I have absolutely no tracking for this year? It's April tomorrow and I have no mileage tracking, which is literally the point of this app. So that's 3 months, $30 down the drain paying for this app. It's also hundreds maybe even a thousand miles I don't know how to track or fix, which in turns affects my taxes. I used to avoid it like the plague and it made everything worse. This is actually easy and kind of fun. I am a freelancer with two separate businesses. This app and the accompanying site is all I need to track expenses and income and organize it by business and expense category. I can organize and tag everything on the go. Tracking mileage is so easy. I do it every night and it takes all of 10 seconds, helping me keep clean, clear records. I have saved tons of money, headache, and confusion with more complicated systems. The quarterly estimated tax figure and simple profit/loss graphic that updates real Time is super helpful. I’m more confident now about my business finances when I used to dread looking at it.
