## What is Hurma?

Learn to read the Qur'an from zero. Recognise the letters, master the vowel marks, refine your tajweed, memorise the surahs. Five minutes a day is enough.

START AT THE ALPHABET
The Arabic letters one by one: alif, ba, ta... then fatha, kasra, damma, elongation and tanween. Listen, choose, read at every step. Any question you get wrong comes back.

AUTHENTIC AUDIO
Letter and vowel-mark recordings come from the publicly available alphabet materials of the Presidency of Religious Affairs of Türkiye (Diyanet); verse recitation comes from Quran Foundation. You learn the correct pronunciation by ear.

VERSES MATCH THE MUSHAF
The Arabic text in the app is matched character for character, including every vowel mark, with the mushaf at kuran.diyanet.gov.tr. The English translation is Saheeh International.

TAJWEED
Ikhfa, izhar, idgham, iqlab, qalqalah, the madd rules, ra and the pronoun ha. The rule is explained, an example is played, then you apply it on a real verse.

SURAHS AND DAILY READING
Al-Fatihah, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Kawthar, Al-Asr, An-Nas, Al-Falaq, Al-Mursalat and more. Word-by-word meaning, memorisation drills and a new verse every day.

WIDGETS
Put the verse of the day, prayer times and the tasbih counter on your Home Screen. Two separate verse widgets for the Lock Screen: one Arabic, one translation — they fit side by side. A live countdown as the next prayer approaches.

PRAYER TIMES
Pick your city or use your location. A reminder 15 minutes before each prayer — switch it off in Profile if you prefer.

CIRCLE
Invite the people you love and progress together in the same circle. Weekly points, nudges and shared milestones.

FOR CHILDREN
Letter balloons, matching, trace the letter, drag the vowel mark. Letter recognition through play.

STREAK AND HABIT
A short lesson every day. You get streak freezes, so missing a day does not break your streak. You choose the reminder time.

LANGUAGES
Turkish, English, German, French, Dutch, Indonesian, Malay, Arabic and Urdu interface.

HURMA PREMIUM
All lessons, the Kids games, the circle and the widgets are unlocked with a Premium subscription. The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period; you can turn renewal off from your App Store account at least 24 hours before the period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when the purchase is confirmed.

Excellent application for daily quran reading and learning quran.

This update is all about sound and flow.

- Word-by-word listening now works in every surah. Tap a verse and hear each word on its own.
- The silent examples in the tajweed lessons are fixed; every rule has its audio back.
- The wait in the verse-reading steps is gone. The lesson moves on as soon as the audio ends.
- Arabic vowel marks are no longer clipped at the top.
- Your circle is alive: other readers are in it now, and you climb the weekly ranking together.
- You can change your answers in the opening questions; the screen no longer runs ahead of you.
- The widget theme list stays where you left it while you scroll.
