## What is Hurricane Trackerㅤ?

Track every active hurricane and tropical storm with a clean, modern map — built for people who want clear information fast, not a cluttered dashboard.

Hurricane Tracker shows you the official National Hurricane Center forecast cone, storm track, and intensity for every active system in the Atlantic and Eastern Pacific, with a 7-day formation outlook for the whole basin. Storm categories are color-coded and labeled using the Saffir-Simpson scale, so you always know what you're looking at.

WHY HURRICANE TRACKER
• Clean, distraction-free map — no cluttered dashboards, just the cone, the track, and the numbers that matter
• Independent and clearly labeled — we are not NOAA or the National Hurricane Center, we make their public data easier to read
• Fast, modern interface built with Apple's latest design system
• Light and dark mode, full support for large text and accessibility

TRACK EVERY ACTIVE STORM
• Interactive map with forecast cone, storm track, and forecast points at 12h, 24h, 48h, and 72h
• Max sustained winds, pressure, movement, and category for every storm
• Distance from your location to the storm's current position
• Wind probability and satellite views for each system

7-DAY TROPICAL OUTLOOK
• See where new storms are likely to form across the basin, with formation chance shown as Low, Medium, or High

STAY INFORMED
• Notifications when a new storm forms or changes category
• Home screen widgets showing active storm count and the nearest storm's category and distance
• Choose your basin (Atlantic or Eastern Pacific) and your preferred wind speed units (mph, km/h, or knots)

BUILT TO RESPECT YOUR PRIVACY
Hurricane Tracker doesn't require an account and doesn't run its own servers — storm data comes directly from public NOAA/NHC sources. Location is only used, with your permission, to show your distance from a storm.

Hurricane Tracker is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NOAA, the National Hurricane Center, or the National Weather Service. Always follow official advisories and local authorities during an active storm.
