## What is Hush Blocks?

A quiet block puzzle for moments you want to slow down.

Drop pieces onto an 8×8 board. Fill rows and columns to clear them. No timers. No combos pushing you to rush. No notifications. Just blocks, breathing room, and the soft thud of every drop.

— GAMEPLAY —
• Drag and drop pieces from your tray onto the board
• Clear full rows and columns to score and free up space
• Three pieces at a time, refreshed when the tray is empty
• Game over when no piece fits anywhere

— FEATURES —
• Soft haptic feedback on every drop
• Automatic dark mode, optimised for OLED screens
• Optional Game Center: All-Time, Today, and This Week leaderboards, a Daily Challenge, and 40 achievements. Sign in is optional — the game is fully playable without
• Cross-device sync via iCloud: your best score and lifetime stats follow you across your Apple devices
• Continue on game over by watching a short ad — optional, never interruptive
• Plays offline. Anonymous, EU-hosted product analytics run in the background when online, buffered locally otherwise — details at hushblocks.app/privacy

— PHILOSOPHY —
Hush Blocks won't pester you. There are no daily missions, no streaks to maintain. No interstitial ads. The only time the game shows a video ad is when you tap Continue after losing — your choice. Game Center is opt-in and silent until you open it.

Open it when you need to think about nothing for a few minutes.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-05-26

Cross-device sync, more achievements, and a Daily Challenge.

• Cross-device sync via iCloud: your best score, streak, and lifetime stats now travel across your Apple devices. Sign-in not required — works as long as iCloud is enabled for Hush Blocks.
• 24 new achievements (40 total, from "First Line" to long-haul devotion). Honest milestones — no RNG, no daily nags.
• Daily Challenge on the Today leaderboard: a fresh target every day, opt-in and silent.
• Inline vibration toggle in Settings — change it without leaving the sheet.
• Softer, more responsive haptics throughout.
• Subtle visual polish: cleaner glass tiles, calmer animations.
• Anonymous, EU-hosted product analytics added (no IDFA, no name, no email) so I can see what's actually being played. Details and an opt-out path in the updated privacy policy at hushblocks.app/privacy.

Still no interstitials, still offline-first.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-05-21

Smoothness and a touch of polish.

• 120Hz on ProMotion displays — drags and animations are noticeably smoother.
• Lighter tile rendering: the soft drop-shadow is gone, leaving the blocks flatter and a little quieter.
• Tray spacing tuned for one-handed reach.

Same calm Hush Blocks. No new tracking, no interstitials.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-05-19

• A new soft, glassy look for the tiles — still minimalist, just a little more depth.
• Game Center: track your best score on the All-Time, Today, and This Week leaderboards.
• 16 achievements to unlock as you play.
• The game now pauses when you switch apps and picks up exactly where you left off, even after a force quit.
• Softer haptics and a gentle "line clear within reach" hint.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-05-14

A quieter look and a few touches to make play feel more natural.

• Softer palette: warm ivory and a deep, soft black replace pure white and black — easier on the eyes. Dark is now the default theme on first launch.
• Unified Pause menu: tap PAUSE for Theme, Stats, Links and Restart in one calm sheet. Everything is one tap away, never in your way during play.
• Undo: one rollback per tray — change your mind on the last placement without losing the run.
• New piece shapes in rotation: L and J tetrominoes, plus S and Z bricks.
• Reactive board: grid lines and frame glow softly around the piece you're dragging.
• Thumb-friendly drag mapping: small finger movements cover the whole board, and edges forgive overshoot.
• Theme picker with live mini-board previews and a richer accent palette (12 colors).
• Refreshed Stats with a "Pieces / min" pace and smarter time formatting.
• "Play again" is the primary action at Game Over; the optional ad sits beside it as a clear secondary outlined button.
• BEST score moved to just above the board, where your eyes already are.
• iPad layout polish and stability fixes.

Same calm Hush Blocks. No new tracking, no interstitials.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-05-12

A small polish update focused on how the pieces feel in your hand.

• New shapes in the rotation: diagonals (sizes 2, and 3) and 2×3 / 3×2 rectangles.
• Friendlier piece selection — fewer awkward tray combinations.
• Easier pickup: the whole tray slot responds to your touch, not just the piece outline.
• Pieces now center on your finger and lift up while you drag, so the board stays visible.
• Smoother snapping at cell boundaries — no more flicker between adjacent cells.
• A short wobble of the remaining pieces before the Game Over screen, so you can read the board.

Same calm Hush Blocks. No new permissions, no new tracking, no interstitials.
