## What is Hush?

You are holding her. Both hands are gone. Your phone is charging in another room.

Hush lives on your wrist, so the sound is already where you are. Raise your arm, press once, and it plays out of the watch speaker. No phone. No pairing. No putting her down.

BUILT FOR 3AM

Hush is dark by default, and at night it goes darker still — the whole screen shifts to a dim red that will not wake a sleeping baby or ruin your own night vision. Nothing on screen blinks, spins, or pulses quickly. Nothing buzzes unless you ask it to.

Every control is sized for one thumb at a bad angle. One press starts the sound. One press stops it. That is the entire app.

EIGHT SOUNDS THAT ACTUALLY WORK

Rain on canvas. Box fan. Deep hum. Shhh. Heartbeat. Ocean. Hairdryer. Womb.

Named for what they sound like, so you can pick the one that worked last night without thinking about it.

THE LOG WRITES ITSELF

You never record anything. Starting and stopping is the data.

After a couple of weeks Hush can tell you the one number that helps: how long it usually takes. Tonight is twenty-two minutes and counting? Usually about fifteen. You are close.

No charts. No streaks. No sleep scores. No comparing tonight to last night. An exhausted parent does not need an app implying they are doing worse than average.

ON YOUR WATCH FACE

Add the Hush complication and the app is one tap away — no scrolling through a grid of apps one-handed in the dark. It shows which sound is set, and whether something is playing right now, so you can answer "is it still going?" without opening anything.

RUNS ON ITS OWN

Hush is a standalone watch app. It does not need your iPhone nearby, and there is no phone app to install. Start the sound, drop your wrist, let the screen sleep — it keeps playing.

Set it to stop after 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or leave it running until morning.

No account. No subscription. No data leaves your watch.
