## What is HushHush.?

Instead of a new messaging app, HushHush is a secure layer for the ones you already have. It combines the absolute privacy of local encryption with the freedom to keep using the platforms you already love.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Type a message → HushHush encrypts it
• Paste the encrypted text into any messaging app
• Your contact copies it back into HushHush to read it.

KEY FEATURES: 

ZERO-KNOWLEDGE ARCHITECTURE:
• HushHush uses a zero-knowledge architecture to ensure that privacy is baked into the code, making it technically impossible for us to collect your data.

MINIMUM 4 LAYERS OF ENCRYPTION:
• Messages protected by at least 4 layers of stacked and shuffled encryption, with the option to customise and add as many encryption layers as you would like.

QUANTUM-RESISTANCE:
• Optional quantum-resistant ML-KEM encryption available, with a two-step in-person QR-code key exchange for extra security.

LOCAL AND ON-DEVICE:
• Encryption keys never leave the device.

QR-CODE EXCHANGES:
• Key exchanges are done In-person via QR-code scanning to prevent encryption interception.

DUAL-PROTECTION:
• Messages are dual-protected by your password and a hardware-backed key stored in each device’s secure enclave. Neither factor alone can unlock your data.

DURESS MODE:
• An optional duress mode is set up via a secondary password that, when used, replaces/ replaces and wipes all data with convincing decoy contacts and conversations.

The Automation update is here. we have now enabled automated transfer via 2 third arty platforms with many more to come soon. 

Simply log into the app via HushHush and if the other person has the automation set up as well its automatic otherwise you can just enable it in chats specifically.

In addition to this there is lots of minor changes to UI/UX, QR code issues for ultra mode and a few security improvements.
