The app contains the text and audio of the Bible in the Hutterite language (Hutterisch). At this time only the NT is available and corrections to the audio will be added in future updates. “Hutterisch” is a minority language spoken by Hutterites in the prairie states of Canada and the US. The Hutterites share a common history with other anabaptist groups, such as the Mennonites and the Amish. They fled to America due to severe and gruesome persecution during and after the reformation, which lead to the death of many. Today the Hutterites live communally in over 500 colonies. They practice shared ownership of goods and generally operate large farming operations, often combined with some kind of manufacturing business. We also fixed some links to glossary entries and also re-recorded all of Mark and certain passages where text and audio did not match. ### 2.1.0 — 2020-06-18 All the audio files have now been added for the entire New Testament. We skipped version 2.0 because right after launch we noticed a problem with all the audio files. So this one should now work as it should. We corrected several mistakes in the text and a number bug reports that we received have been fixed. There are still a few places where the audio doesn't match the text. Many of these have already been marked for correction and they will be fixed when we get to re-recording the passages in question. Please also keep in mind that the audio files can be downloaded in higher quality from our download page. Some previous mistakes in the text have been corrected and several bug reports that we received have been fixed. There are still a number of places where the audio doesn't match the text. Many of those have already been marked for correction and they will be fixed when we get to re-recording the passages in question. But please keep those bug reports coming. Thank you to the users who sent in bug reports, alerting us to the issues. - Added a few more entries to the glossary. ### 1.2.1 — 2020-03-04 From version 1.2 onwards I tried to embed all the audio files in the iPhone app. But unfortunately it caused a number of problems. Not only did the app become too big for the App Store, but it also created a number of download problems for users with slow internet. The app was also mistakenly rolled out as version 3, which was a mistake.
