But Huxe seems require me manually to trigger the refresh. It’s become a part of my daily routine. However, to make it truly perfect, I strictly need two improvements: Playback Logic: Currently, when I try to go back to re-listen to a previous segment, the app starts generating new content instead of simply replaying the previous paragraph. This is quite frustrating when I miss a detail. Transcript Export: This is critical for me. I need a way to access my listening history and easily export the transcripts for my notes. I heard about the app and thought more knowledge about a specific topic won’t hurt. It was great, it lead me to do more research than i initially intended and passes my certification. My schedule, my emails (multi-inbox), news - with subjects defined by me - all read aloud to me as I zip through making coffee, feeding pets, readying for the day. I've just started to create channels too - mini podcasts dedicated to specific subjects I want to keep abreast of. Excellent. One of the best utilities based on AI I've encountered - genuinely useful. In 5-10 minutes you get a mini masterclass without the usual podcast fluff. Just the facts, context, and takeaways. If you want to stay informed without drowning in choices, Huxe is the ideal daily learning fix. Highly recommend. ### 4/5 — Great for Summarising *2025-11-19, version 1.1.27* Good App, especially for the Daily Brief, which gives a daily update, highlighting events/actions from your email and calendar. ### 3/5 — Work in progress *2025-11-17, version 1.1.27* I've been using Huxe on an older iPhone in Australia for a few months now. Generally speaking, it's a good system if you listen to it in the car or train on the way to work. However the news and podcast style items lack references. So it's difficult to use quotes concepts and themes in studies or work pieces. However it does dig deep. Everything that's been presented is useful, and informative, just not referenced. The scheduling and mail aspect is limited to using Outlook or Gmail. iOS is proving difficult for Huxe and many AI companies to connect. Although Notion can connect using an App Specific Password, but even then it can be fussy. It also means that IMAP & POP3 accounts aren't easily catered for. My advice would be to forward all email to Outlook or Gmail then link to Huxe. Calendars have similar issues. Some will work some won't. That's not Huxe's fault, it's the way other platforms communicate. Overall, it's a good up and coming system, with a communicative developer. I’m impressed with the suggestions in “For you” section as they are totally topics I would want to listen to. Severely limits usability. Great idea if you mainly use google or outlook, but if you use an imap email or work email it can’t sync to email or calendar and literally doesn’t do any of the things it was designed to do. After the hosts do their slow and laborious intros it just stops. No email or calendar summaries or news summaries. Having the mic muted does nothing, unmuting to ask to continue does nothing. However one massive thing missing. You listen to and learn so much but there are no easy way to save the info for later. I love the automated humor that goes something like this when I do the early play. “Hi Eddie, I see you’re getting an early start on things… Yep, or it could have been a late night.
