I no longer have the ability to view offline ### 3/5 — Basic Functionality OK, but a few bugs. *2024-03-08, version 2.1.5* Does the basic job pretty well. I use the BT OTA Programmer and usually it connects first time, even at a meeting with loads of BT enabled chargers in the Pits. Easy to perform basic tasks but the download of parameters from the ESC is getting longer due to the larger number of parameters now available. A few niggles persist: Once notified of a new database if you are not connected to an ESC the app reports “connect ti the Internet”, even when I have 100% connection. The app seems to update the database in the background even when you skip the message? The terms are not intuitive, and no explanation of what changes when you go up or down. They just expect you to know. Hier muss bitte nachgebessert werden. iPhone12 Pro IOS 16.3 ### 3/5 — Nice but missing an obvious feature *2023-01-17, version 2.1.2* Everyone raves about this but I’m on the fence. For me connecting only works with Bluetooth. Wifi just doesn’t show up. Updating firmware is great and easy to do. But an obvious simple feature that would make it much more useable is the ability to create a profile within the app for each esc/car setup. If you are running two or more of the same esc’s it would be nice to save a setup for a particular car/buggy. And then the ability to review the setup without having to plug it all in. So you could just check at a glance what’s what. Also having info on each adjustment would be handy. So you don’t have to refer to the manual. Like throttle frequency for example. Higher means this…, lower means that. Just a sentence or two above the adjustment tool so you can understand what will be affected. *You can rename a profile but that’s like mod or stock or crawler and it’s limited and within the esc itself. Once connected unable to load parameters and firmware. Even connnecting is spotty. ### 1/5 — Guter Regler schlechte App *2025-12-01* Der Xerun XR8 Plus G2S ist ein wirklich toller Regler, schade nur, dass es nur eine so schlechte App zur Einstellung der Parameter/Profile gibt. Ständig Verbindungsabbrüche über Bluetooth machen einfach keinen Spaß. Statt zu fahren ist man froh, wenn die Akkus bis zum Ende der Profilanpassungen halten. Das dauert ewig, wenn ständig die Verbindung abbricht. Achtung ! *2024-01-05* Die App bzw. Die App in Verbindung mit dem Bluetooth Modul ist ein schlechter Witz! Wenn man dann mal nicht die Verbindung verliert (nach 5-10 Versuchen) dauert das auslesen der Parameter bestimmt 50-80Sekunden. Das flashen eines Escs via OTA ging natürlich auch vollkommen nach hinten los, so das dieser gebrickt war! ### 1/5 — Not very good *2023-12-31, version 2.1.5* Using this with an XERUN X10 Stock Spec… I was expecting great things. Like in the description of this app says “users can easily and remotely (without leaving the control stand) program the ESC paramaters” A few issues: 1) Live data logging doesn't work as throttle is disabled as soon as bluetooth is connected. When disconnected it doesn't return either. I have to turn the power off and on again 2) the first time I connect via bluetooth I can get the ESC paramaters, but every attempt afterwards I says abnormal behaviour, and has error, i have to restart the app for it to work again 3) when I save a new setting on the ESC, the accelerator is still locked. So there is no way I can use this on the stand, as i have to get off the stand and power off and on again 4) loading parameters from the ESC takes a very long time. It isnt even shown in the official youtube video of the OTA device, they had to crop the video Having these issues with iPhone 15 pro. Latest ESC firmware and latest bluetooth OTA firmware.
