## What is HWP Viewer?

HWP Viewer opens and displays Korean HWP and HWPX (Hangul Word Processor) documents on iPhone and iPad — the file format used by Hancom Office (한글) — and converts them both ways between HWP/HWPX and Word, PDF, or images.

Most PDF and Office apps cannot open .hwp files. HWP Viewer reads them directly on your device, showing the original layout — text, images, tables and formatting — not just plain text.

- Merge or split PDF files and extract pages as images (Pro)
- Recognize text in photos and scanned pages with on-device text recognition (OCR) (Pro)
- Add a signature image stamp or watermark to your documents (Pro)
- Reopen recently viewed documents offline from your on-device cache
