The cart does NOT add up correctly. I budget hard and use the sales/coupons to plan the trip, checking my total with the cart. The tool is so unreliable I hand-add the totals on tighter weeks. 2. Shopping lists used to be by location, then that feature was dropped, now item can only be listed by item category then alphabetized by that (today’s example is Beverage - Tea is separate from Beverage - Juice even though the 2 juices are in different sections and the tea is 5 ft from one juice). Locations are in the items list entry but you’re still standing in the aisle scrolling all over to see what you might have missed. Why is sorting by location gone? Neither issue is a dealbreaker but they used to be better, not sure what changed. ### 2/5 — Cant pay *2026-08-28, version 3.53.0* The idea of this app is great. Helpful. The reality is that i often have issues checking out. Right now the app is refusing to process a valid payment. I like the convenience when it’s convenient but if the in- store registers were down this often it would have been repaired by now. This is more frustrating than trying to get an old wrinkly dollar into a vending machine. I signed up for hyvee perks when the program was being launched at the Waverly Iowa location and have not been able to access anything since, including my fuel saver. I have subsequently thrown out my fuel saver card. I am beyond frustrated with the mess this transition has caused. The stores have been little to no help. Either close my account entirely, or merge my fuel saver account into the new hyvee perks, once and for all so I can finally use the app again. Can you PLEASE make it so a person doesn’t have to login EVERY SINGLE TIME the app is used. I can login, use the app, but if I leave the app and come back 2 minutes later, I have to log back in EVERY SINGLE TIME. It’s also crazy that this app uses a very high amount of data in such little time. More than an actual gaming app does, which is sad. And yes, I close out the app when done. It is more common that I have to enter my log in credentials every time I use the app than not. Especially inconvenient when you’re in line or scanning rewards. DO BETTER! I have 40 other apps on my phone that act normally. Better yet, allow Face ID. This is not acceptable ### 2/5 — Logs you out *2026-07-15, version 3.47.0* Constantly logs you out and won’t let you search your store as a guest ### 3/5 — Too Scattered *2026-07-14, version 3.47.0* Kind of a ridiculous app if you want to order Meals to Go as it spawns white-label DoorDash in a browser window. I especially love the fact you have recipes on your app and you can easily add the ingredients to your buggy online. The perks section is very easy to use.
