The purpose of this app is to help inform users of where flood risk exists. You will be able to pull up official US FEMA Flood zone information and run an analysis for any location in the United States. This app primariliy depends on and uses Open Data from the U.S. Government. Therefore, it's really only applicable in the United States, for now.

Hydra Atlas gives me real peace of mind. The flood risk maps are clear, easy to read, and update quickly. I feel so much more prepared knowing I can check my area anytime. It’s simple, accurate, and exactly what I needed for safety.
My favorite features, so far, are the weather alerts, the weather layers and the legends that teach about the different flood zones and the Annual Flood Return Period. Looking forward to using this app as it evolves!
