## What is HydroHome?

The HydroHome app gives BC Hydro customers tools and insights to track, understand and manage their home’s electricity use anywhere, anytime.  

Features of the free app:  
- Your whole home’s hourly energy use data up to the previous day.  
- A breakdown of how your home uses energy.   
- Insights and tips to help you save.   
- Custom notifications based on your budget.   

If you purchase a hub (optional) through the app, additional features are available:  
- Real-time data that shows how much electricity your home’s using right now.  
- Connect compatible smart home devices to see device-specific energy use.  
- Control compatible smart home devices (lights, thermostats, plugs, etc.) all in one app.  

With greater knowledge of your home’s energy use, you can take actions to save energy and money.  

The HydroHome app is available to most BC Hydro residential customers. Hubs aren’t available to customers in apartment buildings due to limitations with the wireless technology.  

Please note that other account management services such as viewing and paying your bill are not available on the HydroHome app. To use these services please log in to your MyHydro account.

Needs option of using passkeys.

After this major update, I miss the ability to zoom out on the live view - before you could pinch to zoom - now you are only being able to see 6 minutes of data on the timeline without scrolling. Otherwise the app is not bad.

With every update the app gets worse and worse for those who have solar panels and are on the net metering program. The app no longer shows accurate solar production information. It was a few updates ago that it did not show a negative cost when more energy outflows to the system. Make it better for all users.

What is this AI slop? None of the features work. The home profile refuses to save. The data is unreliable at best. The usage shows null earlier than 6 months. I don’t know who approved this

Please incorporate the payment directly in the app so it be all in one. Also, please adopt the Liquid Glass layout and menu bar at the bottom which is compatible with iOS 26. Otherwise, great app! Thank you!

Does not recognize Powerlync. The QR Code on the Powerlync is indistinct. No option to enter QR Code manually. Not intuitive. Date selections clunky.
