The ride mapping/history is ‘ok’. Be nice if a notifications could be set up to monitor for events. Battery charged to 100%, activate an alarm. Battery charge below n%, raise notification, for example. Also, I’d like to see battery specs other than serial number and a 1 word health status. Setting power levels on PAS assist is neat but a log to see how that affects the battery depletion and temp and so forth would be more useful in tuning. It’s an ok app but not an informative tool for battery/power management. ### 3/5 — Ride tracking miss *2025-08-07, version 1.23.0* Ride tracker needs improvement. Very inaccurate. There are much better ride trackers available. It seems like the tracker tries to anticipate where I’m going. There are a lot of places where it overshoots corners. When the ride review function will be fixed for the Electra Townie Go then this app will shine. I was able to do that easily. (Not sure why the bike shop didn’t do that since it was 2 behind when I purchased the bike). Anyway it would be really helpful to be able to interpret error codes without having to take it to the shop. I was worried about continuing my ride and stressing until I could get to the shop and it was just a service reminder! This app includes maps, but I’d prefer if I could see both my ride stats and the map on the same screen and not have to swipe between screens to see both. ‘Bicycle Computer’ app does that much better. In the present version I miss the Notify feature where you could ask for notification when your bike was charged to a user-specified percentage. Please bring that feature back! Otherwise this is a welcome basic app to monitor your Hyena hub equipped e-bike. Came with my trek e-bike and I can count the number of times it’s worked on one hand, and most of those times only after a great deal of frustration. Even with latest updates it won’t actually work to track my battery and ride data unless there is super strong WiFi available. Easy and simple way to manage my e-bike. ### 5/5 — Cannondale Neo 2 *2024-05-14, version 1.18.0* Review based on app version 1.18.0 I was able to update 3 module firmware, iDrive, HMI and Battery, without any issues. I stood about 3 feet from bike during the updates which lasted a few minutes. I was hesitant to update based on previous reviews but, it worked for me! The app allows adjusting of motor power per assist level. There’s 3 levels on my bike and I can set the motor power % for each level. Dashboard is simple and can be adjusted to include speed, temp, calories, elevation.
