### 4/5 — Great product! Suggestion for app

*2018-07-04, version 1.6*

Love these! They are a great way to add motivation and push yourself harder in classes or on your own. I suggest the app allow more notes to workouts so you can add what punches or combos you throw in each round. And/or allow the user to set different types of bells within a round as reminders or cues for changes within a round. This would be very helpful, then I’d give it 5 stars. Extra bonus suggestion: voice activated!! Hard to start the timer with gloves on! ;)

### 4/5 — Love them 👊🏽

*2017-12-30, version 1.6*

These are a must for anyone who is serious about tracking their progress. Adds a little extra motivation during training as you compete with yourself and try to improve with every session. Reason for a 4 rating and not a 5 is that it lacks a backup system, so a new phone means losing your data, also wish it would distinguish between uppercuts/hooks instead of lumping into “power punch”, and lastly, there’s a problem with the app that doesn’t allow you to save image to your phone’s pictures (when trying to share workout results). The moment you hit “save image” the app closes. Please fix and it will be a perfect product.

### 4/5 — Great V1 app

*2017-08-23, version 1.5.1*

Great V1 app. Would love to see the following features added:
- calorie counting & sync with Apple HealthKit
- social feed (á la Strava)
- better visualisation of all time PBs/improvements over time
- drills included out the box

### 4/5 — Nothing like this

*2017-03-14, version 1.3*

There is nothing else like this out on the market especially for the price. Sure they may not count uppercuts. Howeverthey are a must have tool for coaches to maintain and track intensity, out put, and progress.

### 1/5 — No apple watch button

*2024-05-02, version 1.6*

There is no apple watch button. No option to send info to apple health. Once you finish and save a workout there is no way tongo back and see the details, eg see your dominant side etc… this app has potential but it needs work to accommodate a big majority of consumers. Having all those extras would be nice. For a tracking product that is over $150, I believe we deserve a decent app.
Please ensure that when you state and update includes a feature it actually does.

### 1/5 — No way to transfer data

*2021-05-07, version 1.6*

Migrating phones now, no way to transfer all my prior workouts

### 1/5 — Unable to connect by trackers. Tried at least 10 times

*2020-06-07, version 1.6*

Unable to connect the tracker via Bluetooth. Went manually to the Bluetooth settings and connected but still doesn’t reflect

### 1/5 — I now have expensive useless trackers

*2019-11-12, version 1.6*

Used to work. Now it doesn’t. Crashes whilst trying to connect after the new iOS update.

In the meantime I’ve received an update to the other Hykso app. But you can’t do your own freestyle workouts in the other app. Can’t do a sparring workout.

Disappointed

### 1/5 — Drops punches

*2019-03-27, version 1.6*

Always misses punches.
For the 300 dollars unforgivable.

### 1/5 — Device not sync with the app

*2018-03-10, version 1.6*

It would be 5 starts but the right tracker stop responding even though it showed Bluetooth connected. I could not reach out to anyone to fix this issue. I spent $150 for the pair and was able to use it about 8 times.
What to do at this point! Any suggestions?

### 2/5 — Needs Apple Health Integration

*2025-04-06, version 1.6*

In-app experience is gin, but this needs Apple health integration to migrate data after workout. I can’t be the only one who doesn’t wear my watch under my gloves when I box.

### 2/5 — No Longer Works

*2020-11-17, version 1.6*

I’ve loved and used this app and trackers since the original Kickstarter campaign. Unfortunately, as of Nov 17th of 2020 the app no longer opens.

### 2/5 — Hykso

*2017-03-05, version 1.3*

The Hykso wearable doesn't count all punches accurately doesn't count uppercut punches either. The price is to much and needs more work.

### 3/5 — Good bit of kit needs upgrades

*2019-01-06, version 1.6*

Would like built in drills.

Some form of calorie counting and heart rate tracking via external monitor but viewed in the app.

Add on battery pack to the monitors battery length is good but if the charger had a battery pack would be great.

### 5/5 — Please Connect to Health!!!

*2022-09-12, version 1.6*

Great app if you like to freestyle and do your own thing. Only downside is it doesn’t connect to health!

### 5/5 — Class

*2020-04-09, version 1.6*

Brilliant

### 5/5 — Going strong after three years

*2019-09-24, version 1.6*

I’ve had the trackers for three years now, they’ve been dropped, kicked, flown out of the wraps and landed behind the lockers, sweated on profusely, batted around by the cats, charged and recharged, and they are still going strong. Great tracking, and the intensity metric may be a bit opaque, but its not how they measure, it’s about measuring consistently so you can track progress. I go for 80k intensity per month.

I do wish they would allow for posting results on their website so I can see how I compare. It seems a natural for interactive community activity and competitions. Can I do one minute of a semi-pro’s three minute workout?

Rolling up on my 400,000th punch, if I have the math right, and the trackers are hanging in right with me! Great job.

### 5/5 — Brilliant Product

*2019-01-28, version 1.6*

The Hykso trackers are brilliant and worth every cent if you want to track you progress. However, I find the app a little tricky to decipher and interpret the data it collects. Although there is a Hykso Boxing community on Facebook, I can’t help but feel the app could offer more information about the data to help interpretation including suggesting new targets for velocity or intensity. The product is great though and has sooooo much potential!

### 5/5 — GREAT WORK TEAM HYKSO

*2018-09-08, version 1.6*

Cannot speak highly enough of this product!! Consistent data and am finding myself improving time after time, infact rarely a session I don’t improve thanks to HYKSO punch trackers!!

Loved em so much, we’ve rolled them out in our gym of over 800 members, and has helped to improve our customer retention!!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2018-05-14, version 1.6*

As someone who use to box and do Muay thai, but am done sparring (I’m 40) it’s nice to use this app to still get a good work. Use the data and feedback to push yourself to beat your last session. Only suggestion would be to see if the developer could get the same trackers to be used with shin guards, that way you could track punches and kicks.

### 5/5 — Great

*2017-11-09, version 1.6*

Had a great experience using it tonight for the first time! I’m a little curious since you don’t have a login or no feature for a back up. If I was to switch to a new phone is all of my data and previous workouts lost? That is my only concern other than that I felt it was pretty accurate. I think I counted a lot of my street punches as power shots but nothing that would bother me

### 5/5 — Next Level

*2017-02-17, version 1.1*

Hykso is a must have for any athlete training in combat sports. The metrics provided by the tracker are incredibly useful and will take your training to the next level. Consistency will easily achievable with these and results will start to pile up. Only reason to be tentative is supply is limited so you can not just order these and expect them in a week, and you can't track upper cuts and hooks separately but that is supposed to be coming in a future update. Hykso is some next gen stuff.

### 5/5 — What a Product!

*2017-02-13, version 1.1*

Well what a product Hykso have turned out to be!.
After a long and well worth while wait I would 100% recommend this product to any boxer, coach or martial arts enthusiasts!
After just a small use the amount of real time feedback this tracker produces is phenomenal.!! Punch speed, type, and intensity of workout.
If you don't have a pair get some ordered and don't miss out!! 👊🏻

### 5/5 — The most innovative advancements in combative sports!!

*2017-01-24, version 1.1*

I have had the pleasure to use and work with the Hykso system for over a year now. I was selected out of a few volunteer coaches as a beta tester. I have seen the Hykso system evolve to its current production realease. As a coach and trainer for professionals, I have used Hykso to track Omar Figueroa Jr "Panterita", his brother Brandon "Heartbreaker" Figueroa, Robert "La Amenaza" Garcia and countless up and coming professionals. All of my fighters love the ability to see their workout intensity, punch power and punch volume. We have used this system to challenge each other and set goals. I would recommend the Hykso system to any Boxer or MMA striker that wants to improve their punching. The system works great, we have tried to fool and cheat the system to no avail. Hykso is extremely accurate. Finally there is a tool to track and record preformance, My only wish is that the Boxing commissions will approve the Hykso system to finally replace compubox. Thank you Hykso.
