### 1/5 — Doit reconnaître les ouvrages grand public

*2026-08-28*

Viel Freude beim Lesen.

### 4/5 — Great app overall!

*2026-09-04*

Please allow the ability to upload our own photos of our books instead of the generated ones when a title isn’t recognized. If this is fixed, this app will deserve 5 stars!!!

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-05-25*

This app is great if you are also a big book lover like me. It works great with goodreads too.

**Developer response:** Bige, glad it's clicking for you — and good to hear the Goodreads side is working smoothly. Bringing your existing books in shouldn't be the hard part; the fun starts after.
Happy reading.

### 5/5 — The ultimate app for physical book lovers!

*2026-05-19*

Hylle makes building a digital archive of your physical books effortless. The spine-scanning AI is incredibly fast and accurate. It completely eliminates the tedious setup that usually comes with book-tracking apps. The UI is clean, the calendar view is great for tracking progress, and the reading sprints are a beautiful touch. Highly recommend to any bookworm!

**Developer response:** OS, thank you for this — fast, accurate, and no tedious setup are exactly the three words we'd want anyone to use after their first scan. The fact that you also noticed the calendar and reading sprints means you've gone past the magic moment and into actually living in the app. That's the part we care about most.
And for recommending Hylle to fellow bookworms — we'd be honoured to be the app of the bookworms.
Happy reading.

### 5/5 — Found books I forgot I owned!

*2026-04-28*

Hylle helps you actually finish whats already on your shelf. Scanning was quick and the unread filter is a great feature. I love it!

**Developer response:** Zeydo, "found books I forgot I owned" is one of the best things we hear from people who scan their shelves for the first time. There's always something hiding back there. Glad the unread filter is working for you too.
Happy reading.

### 5/5 — Game changing

*2026-04-16*

I’ve been using Hylle AI and it genuinely solves a real pain point. The ability to scan books quickly instead of manually searching and adding them one by one is a game changer. The scan is fast, accurate, and saves so much time. I actually stopped using Goodreads because it felt too tedious in comparison. The app makes building an e-library effortless.

**Developer response:** Thank you for this — "stopped using Goodreads because it felt too tedious" might be the cleanest summary of why we built the scan feature in the first place. Adding books one by one shouldn't be the price of having a library you can see.
Glad it's earning its place on your phone.
Happy reading.

### 5/5 — Harika bir uygulama

*2026-04-13*

### 5/5 — Smart and genuinely useful

*2026-04-10*

I’ve been using this app for a while now, and honestly, it’s one of those ideas that just makes sense. You can build your own digital library either by snapping a photo of your bookshelf or by manually adding books via ISBN, which is surprisingly smooth.

What I like most is that it’s not just a static list of books. The app actually interacts with your reading habits. Things like the vibe check give you a fun but insightful look into your reading persona, and the quizzes add a really nice layer that keeps it engaging.

I’ve actually used it quite a lot with medical books as well, and the quiz feature works surprisingly well there too. It makes it much more useful if you want to actively learn, not just track what you read.

The recommendations are also solid. It feels like the app is actually trying to understand your taste rather than just suggesting random popular books.

Overall, it feels thoughtfully designed without being overcomplicated. Definitely worth trying if you enjoy reading and want something a bit more interactive.

**Developer response:** A real, considered review like this means a lot — thank you for taking the time.
The medical books detail caught us off guard in the best way. We built the quiz feature thinking mostly about fiction and casual reading, so hearing it works as an active learning tool for textbooks is genuinely useful — that's a use case we hadn't fully imagined.
The "trying to understand your taste rather than just suggesting popular books" line is exactly the bar we're trying to hit with recommendations. Some days we get closer than others. Glad it's landing on your side.
If you ever want to share more about how you're using it with the medical books — what's working, what's missing — hello@hylle.app would love to hear. That kind of use case shapes what we build next.
Happy reading.
