Really good video and audio quality but since my iPhone updated the video playback on the app no longer works. I’m hoping it’s still recording. (It still records thankfully but not sure if you can change the settings without the app.) This is one reason why I don’t like devices that rely on apps to function. Eventually the app will be obsolete and or is no longer a priority. I’ll try deleting the app and check to see if the videos are still recording. **** When I love how sleek and low profile this camera is. It’s practically hidden behind my rear view mirror so it’s not distracting to me. It’s not noticeable from outside either. The auto on and off is great to have. The hand gesture snapshot is a nice feature but with some drawbacks. Don’t put on the sun shades with the camera on if you decided to change your wifi password. Any objects blocking that sensor for 10sec will make the WiFi password change to default. This is how you change the password to default incase you forgot your custom password (it’s in the manual). The daytime quality is super clear. The night time (granted it may be my headlights) is too dark to notice much. The app was nice when it was working. I was able to download the videos I wanted. I did try a 128gb but would always say not formatted after a few on/offs. Max is 64gb per manual. Please pick a version that works. I wasn’t aware the app is unavailable internationally since I bought a second at clearance for use out of country. I’ll see if a vpn will help with downloading the app overseas. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t even work. *2020-03-29, version 1.5* Doesn’t even work. Hyperion network doesn’t even show up. Save your time. Playback barely works, have to download to watch clips. Edit: Nevermind ... can’t download in app now for some reason ... Despite disabling voice prompts camera unit still says “goodbye” when shutting down. Can’t pull anything up and I need the footage. Took sd card out and threw the cam in the yard and shot it and deleted this app. Worst $50 I have spent in a long time. ### 1/5 — Don’t understand *2019-11-23, version 1.5* Had this cam for over a year, I can never download a video to my phone because it crashes each time. Jus had an incident to where I needed to review the footage, well it now shows zero video, I’ve been driving for 2 hours, showing zero video. Cam is nice, app is absolutely horrible. Point of having a dash cam is for protection, and video evidence. Yet I’m getting none of that. Even if you remove the disk and put it into a computer, the disk won’t allow you to delete the files. Now the app crashes any time I try to enter settings, replay any saved videos, or look at any snapshots. This is really bad because I don't even know if the camera is going to keep recording video. If I get into a crash I'd like to know which video to save to show to police instantly, instead of having to take it home and find a way to get the video off the SD card. I see the last update to this app was 11 months ago, I'm worried it won't be updated any more.
