Wer kein Problem damit hat Aufgaben mit tippen / klicken zu definieren, hat hier eine gute Alternative. Mir persönlich ist das aber viel zu umständlich gelöst. Man kann neue Aufgaben über die Tastatur anlegen, sie aber nicht benennen. Dazu muss man in die Aufgabe selbst gehen und sie dann dort beschreiben. Das geht besser.

### 3/5 — Some killer features, but missing some of the basics

I love the fact that your knowledge is organised into volumes that look like books. It makes me a lot more focused in how I write notes in this app. Please keep it like that. Love the graph and table views too. However, there’s crucial stuff missing here:

1. No undo button. How it shipped without one is beyond me.
2. No ability to export. JSON is practically useless. And PDF is only good for a finished product. No ability to select and copy everything in the note either. This product is only worth paying for if you can export to markdown or copy the text, which you can’t.
3. Task list doesn’t indicate which note the task belongs to

It’ll be a good product when it’s finished (one of the best). But for now, I consider it only half baked.

I found Hypernotes to be a very organized and useful app. It helped me keep track of my daily goals, allowed me to creat outlines, and it allowed for collaborative note-taking! I highly recommend the new app.

I love where this app is going! It works really intuitively, especially with the “notebook pages”, searching the notes, cross referencing, and ease to add new info. I can’t wait for it to integrate notes from other apps (I currently use the Notes App), as I can see this working much better. 

One thing I wish it had (similar to the Notes app) is some sort of checklist feature so that I can check things off on a list as I go through. Not sure if I can hyperlink some notes, but that would be great too!

Just type "/" and find "Task", then you can add a new task with a checkbox directly in a note. Alternatively you can use the "Tasks" button in the bottom left of each page to add them :)

I loved Roam Research for taking notes, but Roam has no IOS app. So, this app completely blowed my mind. It has most of Roam Research’s great features, and even a few more specific features.  
I am looking forward to see how this new app develops more  and completey change the game.

Die Idee die hinter Hypernotes steckt ist genial eine Outliner Software vom feinsten die es mir ermöglicht meine Gedanken zu verknüpfen und mich besser auf das was ich schreibe zu fokussieren.Erstaunlich wie weit das Produkt bereits nach kurzer Zeit weiterentwickelt worden ist. Schön dass es sowas auch aus Deutschland gibt.

This looks like it might grow up to be a powerful tool. I just love how many different original structures are popping up for notes-based, hyperlinking, task oriented apps. This one looks like a winner.

I’ve been searching for a replacement note/task manager for a while. I want to change the way I think about tasks and projects and start with notes to have integrated tasks. 

In theory this should be possible in practice it is not. The / command for this does not generate a task after all. At least not on mobile. I’ll check out the web version.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for your feedback Nick. There should be a little scrollable menu that appears above the keyboard after you type the / command. From there you can tap "Task" (or start typing 'task') and then type in the task name. Once you're done, tap "+ Create Task" to make it appear. Right now it looks like simply tapping "Done" on the keyboard won't work the way the create task button does, but I'll see if our team can do something about that.

This app is off to a good start. It’s available for free, the interface is good, and the sync across devices is seamless. It also looks good on all devices. 

It is missing some basic functionality though. You can’t import or export notes at the moment. I think this was a critical launch mistake. Many of us eh would be interested in this app already have a note app we use (Evernote, Obsidian, Roam, etc.). It would have been nice to be able export notes from those apps (or even Apple Notes) directly into this one. And there are some spots where you try to do something and can’t. For example, there needs to be a better breadcrumb trail across notes. 

Still, I’ll be keeping my eye on this one as it’s on the right track. However, until it’s able to export or import notes it won’t replace my other note app.

die Beschreibung liest sich vielversprechend - doch als ich die App zum ersten mal nach dem download öffnete, kam direkt eine Fehlermeldung "Unbekannter Fehler" - aktuelles iPad, aktuelles iOS ...

Was this app even tested? Slow to touches, glitchy, just wow.

Going to the delete account doesn’t even allow me to delete my account because the REMOVE button will never enable no matter what I fill out.

Sometimes when you press return, finishing a note or title it doesnt save and deleting pages is super buggy

I use all kinds of text apps on iPad. To offer absolutely no keyboard shortcut support in an app like this is a deal-breaker to start.
The benefits of creating new documents, navigating file lists, selecting & annotating texts, etc while keeping hands on keys are so obvious.
Can’t really even evaluate markdown support, functionality, without that.

Nothing intuitive about it. Cannot create a simple outline without having to mess with icons that don’t respond. 

Personal use is free but limited to 3 notebooks.

### 3/5 — I don’t get it

The app is pretty good. Confusing on some parts and even though I look for answers still foggy. Ex. If I have a page labeled as page 2 but I want it to be page 1 how do I do that? Over all, the gripe is in the price plans. I’m all for supporting developers I like but man, i’m just one person, no team, no business just want it for notes. And granted the app is free to some extent. But thats the problem. I don’t need another subscription, this idea of leeching peoples money is getting old. Apple does the same thing. Hey dude, you want extra iCloud storage? Well you can’t buy it, you have to rent it. Same thing with this app. All I want is two more notebooks. But I can’t just buy two extra notebooks I have to rent them…dumb. Apart from that, the app is solid.

1st/ When you input a # or [[]] to tag something, app will create a page in your notebook.
This thing makes your notebook will be a mess as soon.
2nd/ Graph is good but only can link in one notebook. It shoul be able to link more than 1 note book

After a continued trip down some other PKM rabbit holes I have come back again to see how Hypernotes is coming along .. and it looks really good with some improved functionality whist retaining the clear simplicity in the UX.
After having worked with some other graph views, for me Hypernotes nails it.  To be able to select 2 nodes and have the view indicate paths between them using the focus and ‘depth of field’ type functions i can gain some useful insights that might not ordinarily have seen.
Offline use works just as well as online and the mobile app works really well and allows by to simply capture journal notes or specific standalone note if i want.
I think there are still a few functional advancements that would really add the final shine for me, but overall I am impressed and think I will now make the move over and see where i get to.  Uprating to 5* due to the ongoing improvements and the great direction Hypernotes is taking

I took a look at hypernotes several months back and thought it was nice but at the time I was more hung up on some of the other more developed note taking and PKM apps. Recently I revisited and spent more time on it and am very glad I did .. it really is rather good with the apparent simplicity fronting a very capable and usable app. Hypernotes brings UI clarity where many others bring clutter. It seems reliable fast and capable with great backlinking, IOS friendly, and a very powerful knowledge graph (need to spend a little time with it to get the best out of it). I have to say that I am leaning toward it becoming my PKM tool of choice (I don’t need many of the use-once-every-year bells and whistles that many other apps offer) Also the rate of refinement seems to be good. Free version is probably adequate for most personal use, the next tier up brings more but at a significant annual cost. Very much worth a try.

I wish it were more popular. I’ve never used a knowledge-graph style note system before but last year I used Hypernotes to map my own personality and behaviors and life-style choices to figure out exactly why I kept messing up in life. The answer: ADHD/autism/bipolar disorder. To be clear, I did NOT self diagnose with this tool, I got the real professional help I sorely needed but using this tool I was able to understand myself like better than ever using a divergent thinking system that worked with my brain better than any other note taking system. So when I finally did realize my brain wasn’t normal everything just sort of clicked and I experienced ego death. I suddenly knew I wasn’t different because I was broken (and thus, fixable), but rather I was broken because I was different (and thus fixable but not by neurotypical standards).

TLDR this app is great for divergent brains, I hope to see the concept take off in the future if not by these developers then by someone else, I don’t want to see the torch die

Love the concept of bidirectional linking building a personal knowledge system. Tried a few options before settling on Hypernotes, and found it to be the most frictionless. 

The app itself is simple, fast and feature rich allowing me to quickly write down those shower thoughts I would often forget. In the past I would use bits of paper or random notebooks that would get lost. Or I’d use an app but again the notes would simply merge into countless others. 

Using blocks within Hypernotes I can note down the idea, but also expand and link it in was that make it easy to recall and understand. Really happy.

This is definitely one of my favorite apps. It’s a very powerful tool that allows me to map out my ideas and visually see how everything is connected. If you’re even a little technically inclined you should be able to learn to use this tool.

One thing I would love to see is additional color or shape options for the nodes. This way the user can quickly identify key nodes or even color code entire sections.
