However, their customer support team quickly assisted me in canceling my subscription. Bank blocked my card as they tried taking out another $81.00 that I had not authorised. No option to cancel subscription other than by email. Do not recommend. ### 2/5 — Cost *2026-08-15, version 1.29.0* The app is relaxing, but they trap you with costs. You sign up for 1 month for $4.99, then the next charge is $81 PER MONTH! In addition, if you want shorter hypnosis OR speciality session (like 1 confidence session or 1 alcohol reduction session) they charge $20 for EACH, session. That drives the price up and is an insane renewal for an app. I will not be renewing. I’m disappointed and recommend that you pay attention to your renewal fees. I’m super disappointed by the ridiculous jump in cost. ### 2/5 — Unintended Resubscription *2026-08-15, version 1.29.0* By all means, download this. But be wary of re subscribing unintentionally after the 6 months is up. I’ve been in touch today with Hypnozio support when I noticed I’ve been charged a further £82.50. I only opened the app as I was under the impression that I still would be able to view previous and access old sessions. Instead, I find I’m being accused of intentionally re subscribing and a refund refused because it took me more than the 30 days allowed for cancellation to catch on what had transpired by simply opening the app. It is claimed this was made evident, but let me assure you it wasn’t. Especially when opened in a state of distress. App deleted to avoid further distress. Update; 15th September 2026. I’ve been emailed and asked to re-contact support@hypnozio. Sorry. I’m not going to beg. I’ve stated my case already. ### 1/5 — Scam - Do not get sucked in! No refunds, very difficult to cancel *2026-08-14, version 1.29.0* They never send a warning the your subscription is about to renew. Canceling must be completed over 30 days in advance! There are NO REFUNDS! Charged my card $87 for 6 months! It’s a total scam! Don’t waste your money ### 1/5 — SCAM - BEWARE *2026-08-11, version 1.29.0* Unsubscribing will not cancel ongoing payments which they will debit every 6months and refuse refunds claiming to have a 30day clause. DO NOT PURCHASE! ### 1/5 — Achtung Abo-Falle *2026-08-10* Nicht deutlich gekennzeichnet, dass es sich um ein unbefristetes Abo handelt und man ab der ersten Verlängerung den vollen Preis zahlt. Mir wurde ohne Ankündigung 89 Euro für drei Monate abgebucht. Als ich dies moniert habe, wurde daraufhin gewiesen, dass daraufhin gewiesen wurde - kleingedruckt in den Nutzungsbedingungen. I went to my account and it said “free membership” so I thought it had been canceled. I checked Apple subscriptions and this app did not show up there. I thought I was good. I was Charges again two months later. I asked for help and asked for a refund based on the wrong representation in my account and they refused. ### 3/5 — Beware the subscription *2026-08-08* Be aware that as of this writing Hypnozio does NOT send out a reminder about subscription renewal (like every other subscription thing out there). And they will stick to their terms and conditions (which few read, let’s be honest) and won’t offer any kind of refund partial or otherwise if you don’t catch it before hand (I know, I tried same day my card was charged and I didn’t realize it was coming up or I’d have cancelled for many reasons but mostly due to family medical issues and me not having the time). Also wouldn’t consider this the best program. Had high hopes as I’ve had success with some hypnosis audios in the past. For some people this might work. Not everything works for everyone. But beware they catch you on the renewal with no notice (again, as of this writing), stick staunchly to their T&Cs (I’ve seen companies make exceptions for folks, but these folks will not) and have zero compassion as a result (in my opinion). Apple faites quelques choses, ce sont des voleurs ### 1/5 — Terrible experience *2026-08-31* I subscribed from an online social media offer and somehow ended up paying a lot more than the offer that it was advertised for. Then they made my account an automatic subscription which I didn’t authorise. When I emailed and asked them to cancel that automatic renewal they tried to get me to keep it and I had to continue emailing. In the end the sessions weren’t helpful at all. I have tried hypnosis in the past with success. I would not recommend. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2026-08-31* I am new to this and I did see some improvement but not a lot. It is very expensive and I emailed them about a refund I was told in an email that before they can refund, I needed to listen to at least six of sessions, I listen to seven and then contacted them again now they are refusing to refund me after they said they would and it is really not that different from other apps out there. I was not happy with the sessions. I was not happy with the Customer service and had them cancel subscription. I had some of the same problems as one of the ladies who left a review. With the stopping and starting and trying to find something that would start and it was not keeping my place. So I would not recommend this to my friends or anyone at this time they are aware of. My Dissatisfaction. And have done nothing. ### 1/5 — Predatory pricing and renewals *2026-08-29* I trialed this app and it didn’t work for me but forgot to end the trial. I only realized a year later when I was charged for another annual renewal. When I requested a refund for the second renewal, within a few days of the charge, I was told that they only provide refunds for cancellations within 30 days of the original subscription - ie it was impossible for me to do this as it was a year later. After several back and forth messages with support they have stopped communicating. TOTAL SCAM!!!!! ### 1/5 — Buyer beware! *2026-08-14* I did a six month plan, canceled well before 30 days and yet they still charge me for the next six months. I contacted them and in order for them not to have charged me I would have had to cancel within the first 30 days of my six months membership -so shady! I’ve never encountered any subscription service that makes you cancel within a certain amount of days. Yes, before your next renewal, I can understand 30 days before that, even though that is a lot, but out of six months I had to know within the first month?! I would’ve however, the first month I didn’t have much time to use it so I did not want to cancel before I was able to use it. Once I was able to use it, I realized it was not helping at all. Aber wirkt es? *2026-08-07* Es ist ärgerlich, dass dieses Abo nicht einfach kündbar ist und mir somit plötzlich fast 40 Euro abgebucht wurden. Mein Ziel war, meinen Alkoholkonsum zu reduzieren. Bin bei jeder Sitzung eingeschlafen. Für meinen Blutdruck habe ich mir ein Hilo gekauft und mich entschlossen, erstmal keinen Alkohol zu trinken. Was soll ich sagen? First of all it was really effective at just getting me to relax when I listened but then I unexpectedly found myself eating less during the day. It may be me, but it never relaxed ma and I never lost my food cravings. So I stopped using it after several months and forgot About it.
