To make it quick and easy all cars can be opened, closed and started with the app and settlement of tolls, fuel and kilometers is done automatically when you end the booking. Total waste of time. **Developer response:** Hi! We perform credit checks on all of our customers. When renting a car, unexpected and significant costs (e.g., damage, fines, towing fees) can arise, which is why we have implemented mandatory credit checks. We have always had in our terms and conditions that we reserve the right to perform credit checks on our renters, but we only started doing so in the spring of 2021 (https://www.hyre.no/en/terms-and-conditions/renter/). There could be several reasons why you did not receive an approved credit check: - You may have outstanding payment remarks or a low credit rating. - You may have blocked Creditsafe from performing the credit check - Creditsafe may not have enough information about you. Do you think there are a lot of Norwegian people who change their App Store to another country? ### 1/5 — Sketchy credit check *2023-03-28* Won’t let me rent due to “low credit score” although I have a high one. I tried to check the website they reference (creditsafe) and it doesn’t even show anything about personal credit checks. Disappointed. ### 1/5 — Only for Norwegian residents *2021-12-06, version 5.18.0* Here are quite common around Oslo and have a nice selection of cars.
