## What is 波動 Hysteric Oscillator?

An oscillator experiment app that shows the waveform in real time while it plays.

Generate sine, square, pulse, sawtooth, and noise from 2 Hz to 20 kHz, and control the filter (low-pass / high-pass) and AM / FM modulation from your device. Export what you made as a video or an audio file. Useful for quick speaker and amplifier checks, DIY audio circuit tests, and learning synthesizer basics.

Wen I try to access channel #2, a pop up window appears asking if I purchased it to remove the game’s ads, purchase it. I select purchase and nothing happens. Apparently you also can’t access the second channel w/o buying but that mechanism isn’t working. IAP isn’t mentioned in the app’s description.

### 26.8.12 — 2026-08-12

The app has a new icon.

- The Home Screen icon is now Twin Waves. If you prefer the previous one, you can switch back any time from Settings > App Icon > Classic (free).
- Added Traditional Chinese. The app now appears in Chinese in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
- You can now pick the app's display language from Settings > Language, independently of your device setting. Japanese, English and Traditional Chinese are available.
- The User Guide and FAQ links now open the page in the language you are using.
- Fixed the Pro description, which said the banner was at the bottom of the screen. It is at the top.

Now you can see what your sound is actually made of.

- Tap the waveform to switch to a real-time spectrum view. You can see which harmonics are sounding, and how strongly.
- FM (pitch wobble) now offers 5 shapes to choose from. The same settings can sound completely different. New presets included: ray gun, alarm, motor and more.
- The harmonic waveform (Harm) is now available to everyone, with 5 dedicated presets added.
- Presets can now be exported and imported as files, so you can move them between devices or keep a backup.
- The preset screen has been rebuilt: delete in bulk, a visible Save button, and no more confirmation sheet every time you go back.
- Fixed several bugs, including purchase state not being reflected on screen.

- Choose a filter type: Off, Low-pass, or High-pass.
- Q (resonance) is now adjustable. Turn it up for a peak at the cutoff and a wah-like ring.
- Pick the slope: -12, -24, -36, or -48 dB/oct. Tap the cutoff value to choose it.
- 4 new filter-driven presets: Wind Howl, Steam Valve, Distant Thunder, and Rain on Glass.
- Noise now comes in White, Pink, and Brown. The frequency slider folds away when noise is selected.
- The waveform display separates L and R, so you can see what PAN is doing.
- Copy every setting from one oscillator to the other.
- Type exact values for any parameter, and revert to the loaded preset's value.
- Redesigned Pro purchase screen.
- Fixed the high-pass filter not working correctly.
