## What is Hyttefred?

Hyttefred keeps the peace in families sharing a cabin.

A fair calendar rotates the popular holiday weeks between owners, shared expenses are split and settled with Vipps, open/close checklists keep the cabin safe, and the cabin guide gathers wifi, water and house rules in one place. Everything works offline in the mountains.

### 1.4.1 — 2026-08-19

New in 1.4.1:

• Several people on the same stay — add who is coming when you book, and optionally set how many the cabin sleeps.
• Booking in a holiday period now says so clearly: "Vinterferie 2027".
• Tap the cards on Home to jump straight to those dates in the calendar.
• A friendly reminder to write in the cabin book when the stay ends.
• The Hyttefred Pro purchase buttons now work as they should.

### 1.4 — 2026-08-17

New in 1.4:

• Hyttefred Pro — for running the cabin properly: Frost watch warns when the cold arrives and the closing checklist was never completed. Rentals with a guest link and income split by ownership share. Usage-based splitting and a yearly report. A maintenance plan. Power-price alerts for the cabin's zone.
• One owner buys — the whole family gets it: 249 kr the first year (then 349 kr/yr) or 749 kr for three years, VAT included.
• Everything that was free stays free. The cabin book got finer paper.
• Small fixes and improvements.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-06

New in 1.3.1:

• You can now settle up with someone who has left the cabin. The money no longer disappears from the accounts.
• Expenses shared with a former member can be edited again, without their debt going missing.
• The balance on Hjem now shows the right amount for expenses that are not shared by everyone.
• «I dag» in the calendar is easier to hit.

### 1.3 — 2026-07-29

New in 1.3:

• Choose who an expense is shared between. Not everything concerns everyone — the boat engine can be split between two, while the insurance is shared by all.
• Three ways to split: evenly, by ownership share, or your own amount per person.
• The expense list shows who is included when an expense is not shared by the whole cabin.
• Hyttefred now also runs on Android and in the browser: hyttefred.app
• Small fixes and improvements.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-24

New in 1.2:

• The cabin book is now a real book: turn its pages like paper, with photos, stay dates and a signature.
• The Home screen suggests writing a page right after your stay.
• The "Economy" tab is now "Expenses", with calmer language throughout.
• The Cabin tab is reorganized: Checklists, the Cabin Book and Practical info.
• Small fixes and improvements.
