That requires you to purchase the premium version. When I tried that the app could not connect to the internet. Even after checking all My phone settings. I still received a message telling me to connect to the Internet. All other apps work just fine. This is the only app that would not connect to the Internet I requested help from the app developer with no response. I do not recommend this app. ### 2/5 — Must Pay to Hear Affirmations *2025-10-02, version 1.2.0* The affirmations play at such a quiet volume that you literally can’t hear them, and you can only increase the volume if you pay for the premium membership. It’s a wonderful app. Thank you. ### 4/5 — Great *2024-10-23, version 1.6.1* I love this app. I would like it more if it allowed me to save the affirmations from the notification certain to a special “favorites” folder instead of having to look through the app to find the affirmation. ### 2/5 — Great App…but *2024-08-20, version 1.6.1* I was so excited to find this app. I purchased the lifetime subscription and recorded many scriptures. Then, one day everything I recorded just disappeared. Well not entirely. They seem to be there, but each and every one had errors and none would play. So…I did it again. I recorded a bunch of scriptures and passages, only to discover the same thing occurred. I am not sure if it is because of updates or what. But this error occurs even when I restore my backup. Completely frustrating. I wasted my money and my time. It would have been a great asset to my endeavor to write the Father’s Words in my heart and mind. ### 2/5 — Bad first impression *2024-02-27, version 1.6.1* I just got the app and had so many ads I didn’t have enough time to make the choice to upgrade to premium… which I did, just to stop being bombarded with ads. Horrible first impressions, but I will update my experience of the actual app later. ### 2/5 — Free version unusable - excessive ads *2023-08-22, version 1.4* I understand the need for ads in a free version of an app. However, you can barely function in this app because of the constant ads. Often two will play within about 15 seconds. Then there will be a few minutes you can do things, then more ads. They pop up when you're right in the middle of writing or making changes. I won't even try to journal with that kind of constant interruption. Perhaps banner ads that stay, rather than full pop-ups? Or pop-ups only when the user isn't actively typing? I'm sure Premium is wonderful - and I was planning to upgrade - but I can't get a good feel for how useful it is with all the ads stopping me constantly. Also, the ads are not at all in line with the positive, Godly mindset the app is supposed to help us cultivate. Looked like I'll be using a different app and just writing my own Christian Affirmations. Too bad, I really wanted to love this. ### 3/5 — Updates and support *2023-07-31, version 1.4* I don’t think this app is being updated anymore. And I’ve tried contacting support to no avail. But there’s sooo many of them. ### 3/5 — A little disappointed *2023-07-15, version 1.4* The affirmations are wonderful! I am only able to record 7 affirmations dur to not having premium. I am unable to pay for premium and cannot seem to get around it. There’s an error message that says: store connection interrupted. Please try again! I have deleted the app, refreshed my settings, downloaded it again and still get the same error message. Please help! ### 3/5 — Perfect concept, but could improve *2023-03-16, version 1.0.23* I want to finish with positives so I’m going to start with what needs improving. I’m surprised with app doesn’t offer widgets because that is one of the main functionalities people enjoy when using a motivation or affirmation app. To see a different quote on your home screen. Another thing many would appreciate would be making your own theme. I’m not really digging the whole pink thing at all… I would probably suggest taking a look at the app called Motivation. They allow you to chose your own background, font, and color. Other than these, it’s only minor things that I personally don’t believe matter much to change. Now for the positives, I really appreciate someone finally made an app that has actual affirmations inspired by the Bible. All other apps that claim that are just motivation apps, they don’t understand the distinction between the two. Huge points for that. Another thing would be that you can add your own affirmations as well. Although it would be nice if it would add to the public (maybe it would have to get screened and approved if that were allowed..so may or may not be a good idea). I also like that you can create an account, that way you don’t lose any of your written affirmations if you reinstall. Having a Bible on here is a really great idea! I like that as well. The journal I personally don’t like having on a phone, but that’s probably just me. Overall, pretty good for a relatively new app! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Please fix! This app was a blessing. *2026-03-14, version 1.2.0* I really love the core concept of this app, especially the ability to record daily Christian affirmations in my own voice. It’s a unique and powerful feature I haven't found elsewhere. However, the app is currently not functional. I have reached out to support/administration but haven't received a reply yet. I’d love to keep using this if the bugs are fixed! ### 1/5 — Forced Subscription *2025-01-23, version 1.2.0* Free to download, great, went through the steps to setting up notifications and things (gives you the option to skip..great). But then it came down to choose a subscription and I’m like I can’t deal with ADs…but it doesn’t offer you to continue unless you pay. Which is pointless to be a free app. Free to download, pay to use. I’m blown away… ### 1/5 — Not worth any money *2024-12-04, version 1.2.0* Full of bugs and barely works. I’ve had an active subscription and yet it deleted all me pre- recorded affirmations I spent a long time creating. I also feel the ads are inappropriate for a Christian app. I would love to check out your app if I could see more than just video game apps every few seconds. I have to navigate through all the ads and it freezes so a easy journal can take at least 15 min to get into to restore your member ship. Hopefully they will fix that . I love how you make custom affirmations based on the Bible. I love how you can record them with your own voice and listen to them at anytime. I have made a playlist that I am about to listening to everyday. It’s so important to speak the word of God over our lives and this app helps me do that!
