You can add widgets and stuff on your home/lock screen. You can also customise it for free without premium that is a premium but unlike most apps you can still use the app without purchasing premium and the premium is very cheap. I 100% recommend this app It’s very simple and doesn’t have a bunch of overcomplicated feature features but yet it is such an amazing app. ### 5/5 — Thankful I have this *2026-08-24, version 6.50.0* So I started with a free trail and was expecting to cancel it honestly. Well, I forgot to cancel and accidentally signed up for a year. Honestly, I did not think it would do much but after a couple weeks of constantly seeing encouraging and motivating quotes, I think it’s subconsciously helping me. I notice sometimes I get the perfect quotes at the right time. Sometimes I look at my phone just to see what it says to help motivate me to be a better person, help me have a better day, or tell me exactly what I need to hear in that moment. It’s helped me a lot and I’m glad I forgot to cancel. You definitely need more time than the free trial. I recommend this app completely. Or I would get it. ### 1/5 — Continuing Dysfunctional Home Screen Widgets ☹️☹️ *2026-08-28, version 6.51.0* Every update seems to knock out/throw off some feature within the app… AND the home-screen widgets continue to be DYSFUNCTIONAL ‼️‼️ I like the concept that “I AM” is trying to deliver and if it could just sort out the fundamental basics (instead of focusing on expansion of plastic AI wallpaper/themes) and filter out the passive-aggressive “affirmations”from the genuine helpful ones, this then would be worth 5*. However in its current state, it is NOT fully executed with its offerings, delivered in a somewhat clunky, awkward manner, unlike “Mantra” with a slick, seamless UI focusing on quality and execution in a fully functional form throughout the ENTIRE app. I will be sending screenshots/screen-recordings to “I AM” (via the email I received from them) of the continuing dysfunctional features. I also read past reviews (from before they became a paid app ) and it seems widgets have been quite a big issue previously which seems like it has NEVER really been addressed from the get-go. I initially downloaded “I Am” and “Mantra” simultaneously (approx early July 26) for comparison intending to delete one of them. However I’ve enjoyed having the two with their very slight different offerings. In the meantime I’m now looking for a potential replacement for “I Am” unless all issues are resolved and the app and REMAINS consistently fully-functional. At this point I am still CONTINUOUSLY enjoying “Mantra” trouble-shooting free. I would strongly “suggest” that “I Am” (and anyone else for that matter) have a “look” at “Mantra” in its fully functional form where the results EASILY speaks for itself. I tried what was suggested on the “FAQ” site but still nothing. Obrigado! ### 1/5 — “Free trial” does not exist *2026-08-23, version 6.50.0* I downloaded the app to my iPhone on August 18, 2026, to try it out as the app said there was a three day free trial period and, if I did not opt to continue, after three days, it would automatically be cancelled. My Apple account was charged $59.99 on August 20, unbeknownst to me. On August 21 I cancelled the app because it was more annoying than useful (way too many pop ups and not relevant to me and the settings I chose) only to discover I was stuck with it for a year as I’d already paid through Apple! I tried requesting a refund through Apple online and it is not listed as one eligible for a refund! ### 1/5 — WTH??? *2026-08-22, version 6.50.0* I received a daily affirmation two days ago and it was not positive. It was almost a suicidal message and it’s disgusting and you need to fix this. ### 1/5 — Premium *2026-08-21, version 6.49.0* I was charged for a premium membership and I never signed up for a free trial never mind a membership. There is no option to contact support to have this fixed and the bank will not dispute the 64$ charge. ### 1/5 — Misleading, Fraud, Scam *2026-08-20, version 6.49.0* 8/20 Update: still no helpful response or solution offered. This is the worst company and app I’ve ever dealt with and I have a Duolingo. I find it an app built to for self improvement lacks integrity. I signed up for the 3 day free trial. Made sure to select the option to be reminded when the free trial ends. Good thing I set a reminder in my calendar. I signed up on July 15th. Cancelled the subscription July 18th. Why am I being charged for the yearly membership? I don’t want to pay for it obviously. I shouldn’t have to. It’s ironic how this app is supposed to help your mindset and now my stress has increased.
