## What is I Ching Study Journal?

I Ching Journal is a calm study and journaling tool for reading the I Ching, keeping notes, and returning to your reflections over time.

Browse the 64 hexagrams, read primary text guides and moving-line notes, or create a journal entry with your question, hexagram, tags, and personal notes. Return later to record what happened and compare it with your first understanding.

Smart Readings require Sign in with Apple and an App Store purchase. Ordinary journal entries, the library, notes, favorites, and review tools do not require an account.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-14

Added optional Smart Readings. After completing a journal entry, you can make a one-time purchase for a deeper reading of that question. Each purchase applies to one entry and never renews automatically. Processing can continue after you leave, and the result is available from Purchased Smart Readings.

This update also improves purchase status, retry handling, individual result deletion, and Smart Reading account deletion. Ordinary journals and the library remain local.
