I’ve tested it on IPhone 6, XS Max and 2018 IPad Pro 11. All have been successful opening. You may have to uninstall and then re-download as I had to for the XS Max. So I plugged it back into my phone and what I did different on hers that I didn’t do on mine is that after you download the app, whenever you plug the device into your phone it asks to allow to send notifications and whatnot. I believe when it asks you all this it also allows the device to access your phone. So when that screen pops up to ask if you allow it to send you alerts, accept it, because after I did that, this thing has actually been a gem ever since! Just note that it never ask on my phone if I wanted to allow it to access my photos or anything, but on my wife’s iphone8 it did prompt that input from her. On my XS MAX it just asked if I want to allow it to send me alerts and notifications.
